That's so cool! I can relate to you, I struggled so much at school and ended up having to have maths home tuition, study plus maths and an intense maths tuition course before my GCSE's and some how managed to get a C. I didn't care what other people thought as to me, getting a C in Maths was like getting an A*. I also went to College and did Level 3 Health and Social care and finished with the same grades as you! I am a very practical based learner and like to keep optimistic about any work opportunities. People skills are so important, and do indeed go along way in life!

@@2OrdinaryGuys that's ok! Thank you, a C opens up so many doors to further education, not only university but also apprenticeships require a minimum of a C grade in maths and English Language. Health and Social care was great I found it very interesting and did 3 different placements: one in a retired housing group, one in a nursery for children with disabilities and an intensive week of work experience looking at various areas of hospitals.

Maybe you could do a video comparing them both so what paramedic can do in their line or practice and what nurse can do so like intubation and things Also I would like to know more about what paramedics and nurse can do after their 2 years of being newly qualified

I didn’t do Nursing as my first degree in uni because I didn’t have the right mindset and wanted to pursue something else but now I’m finally applying as an older student and your vids helped a lot, thank you kyle

Oh my god I want to go to Worcester uni to do nursing and I left school with health and social care level 2, English lit and language. Currently applying to uni with no maths gcse and no biology- I’m currently studying biology maths and health and social care level 3 at college. Hey there! I have a question. This year I got my predicted gcse grades. I only passed English lit and lang with a grade 4 and R.E. with a grade 5. Everything else was a grade 3. So I left school with 3 gcses only. I am now doing functional skills maths and studying so so hard and taking a level 1 health and social care course. I really want to become a childs nurse in the future. Is this possible if I get my level 2 functional skills maths and level 3 health and social care qualifications? I would like to attend a university in the future to study nursing. I am 17 this year and I feel so lost.

Hey Kyle I was in the uk last year studied there for 5 years and got my gcse grades I got a 3 in English (predicted corona virus grades )and ironically I got a 6 in history which doesn’t make sense at all however now i moved out of the uk and I’m in a different country where I’m doing my alevels (Cambridge international ) I’m doing law business and sociology all uk based education as mentioned Cambridge above however after my alevels I want to study in the uk I’m concerned whether they are going to ask for my gcse grades or I can get away with showing them my alevels grades and I’m honestly doing good in my subjects even my predicted are A stars please help if they are any unis that don’t ask for gcse grades and since I’m doing good in alevels they won’t ask me for my gcse grades

it depends on what your university offers. if the universitys you want to apply for accept functional skills - why would you need gcses? :)

I made one of the biggest mistakes of my life and picked computer science as an a level. It’s literally the hardest a level you can take other than German and I’m not the smartest of people.

I took it in school, I don’t know if I’m very dumb or what, but I can not understand it😭 all I remember was binary. I got a 0 for my GCSE CS. Wasn’t even my fault tho, I picked IT and not enough student picked it so they put me in CS.

So I just got my grades and I pass in all the subject but I couldn’t choose subject like science and I wanted to be nurse.But I’m feeling bit down of what to do for my alevel.So,I choose health and social and double btec/ict.Now I don’t know what is my next step....I’m confused 🤷‍♀️😭😭😭😭

ye same with me i got MEDIOCRE gcses and had to change two of my a levels but i used www.informedchoices.ac.uk to check what degrees or futures i could have with my new a levels

I am currently in my last year Studying Health and social extended Diploma. I would really recommend . Its equivalent to three A levels and best ways to get placement experiences in tow different type of settings and one of the best courses that connect with Nursing.

Hi this may be a bit late , I got a U in my English mocks (a U is ungradable) and I struggled with English all through secondary school, I revised at home using KZfaq videos and old practice questions and passed with a 5! I know that it is not much to many people but I was still proud of myself, If I did it I truly believe you can too! You got this! I wish you the best!
