One more quick question My annual salary is between 33,000-36000 as an individual i am working right now if I proceed with COC do you think that they will approve me immediately.I have a car note and student loans that is killing me.

Unless your your going to be evicted in 14 days, a COC would not be a good option. Because of your income you should apply for a HUD emergency program, if your rent cost more than 30% of your income,

I’m looking to relocate to texas with my son and I’m trying to find affordable housing or low income Housing and every-time I call somewhere they are staying the list are long and they don’t know how long it would be to get me an apartment or I have to be physically there to apply , how do I apply for COC and what steps do I take if coming from another state ?

You only have 2 options you can call 211 or hire consultant to speed it up.

If I'm in California and relocating to Colorado what Source would I go through 211? I have contacted them and they gave me basic information but I want to make sure that I can get the process started to get into housing faster in the next month and a half?

You will need proof residency in the new state before they will do anything. To get information you can call 211 or 311 for the local housing authority.

@@anicole626 Actually just run by the DMV and get an id with business address. There is no law saying you cant have ids in multi states only driver licenses' have 7 Ids from travels around the country were worked more than 30 days .They will ask for your ID

The fastest way is apply in person at your local housing authority if open or call 211 or 311 for phone application.

Hello. If I receive COC or low income housing, would they come after my son's father for child support? He sends money himself to my bank account, no court order involved.
