I've been friends with this girl for 4/5 years. We hung out every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and almost every single day in the summer. I learnt she stole money from me, and lied about me to all of her friends so that they would hate me. She peer pressured me into trespassing, despite me constantly saying I didnt want to I finally broke off the friendship, but I still feel sad about it. OMG! I have a similar situation! So I used to be friends with this one girl that lied all the time but then she decided to lie about a sensitive topic and I called her out on and told her she shouldn’t lie about it but she went haywire and called me names. I said ONE thing to her then she decided to tell everyone on Insta that I was bullying and harassing her. Her followers started coming at me. And one of my others friends believe her and decided to do petty things and make fun of me for my insecurities. She also dragged my sister into it and my sister believes her. I lost two friends that day.

I did the same thing. But the thing is, my boy best friend that I've known for 9 years literally talked behind my back, lied to me, very controlling and gets mad if I talk to other people, telling people my secrets and telling everything to his mother like wtf. And he also made fun of me for having depression and didnt take it seriously and always makes it about himself. i gave him several chances but I had a better bond with the girl I've known for a week, But she ended up also doing the same stuff and shes still making fun of me and I'm still damn heartbroken. I lost my best friend of 8 years, because i ended the friendship. I ended it because the attitude she gives me and the way she talks to me, bosses me around and she has the audacity to end our friendship constantly and expect me to forgive her right away just really annoys me. She only used me (well that is what it seems like) for when she was bored, needed to talk and other stuff but when I need to talk she is always busy and changes the subject! I went through that situation two weeks ago, on break. She made me cry in a way I could never ever cry. Then she had the audacity to tell OUR friends. I am still going through this. Tomorrow I have school. They’re in all of my classes and groups. Sometimes I feel like I’m a bad person because I don’t have friends. It tore me apart. The fact that I told her and her friends everything hurts me even more. Sometimes I wish I can just disappear from the world. At night, I get this anxiety about school just because of them, then I cry. I don’t know why I let this happen to myself. But your video actually helped me. I did everything you said, and I feel better about myself. It’s nice to know that there’s someone who knows and feels what you’re going through.💯💕💖

Omg same like he came over to my house everyday and i have a feeling something's off with his new gf so I was jealous tbh (I did have a crush on him) so I made a mistake like I took my anger out on his gf that he just met like bitch you don't know him like I do ( I know I shouldn't have done that I was immature back then) like I knew him for like 4 years and he didn't even make an effort to see me and I really wish he should've had at least cared to like show up or text me or stuff like that. I'm so sick of being the one that always messages him, texting him when it should've been both of us doing the same efforts. In the end he blocked me and unfriended me and tbh I deserved it and I wish I apologised to him sooner before it's too late but since covid hit that chance went out of that window.

Been best friends for years. Don’t know what to do. We went to different schools and she just text me and said she didn’t wanna be friends. This sounds stupid but about 14 months ago I got her this bracelet and she put it on and refused to take it off when anybody told her to. This was what I needed. An ex best friend unfriended me off Facebook and when I asked him he told me it’s because we don’t talk much anymore but he’s still friends with everyone else I know. It was heartbreaking. I was depressed but another tip for those going this, it takes time to heal from a situation like this. It took a long time to let something like this go, and while I’m feeling much better, it still sad and while I’m not friends with him, I still see him pop up while talking to my other friends and those feelings of betrayal and sadness come flooding back. I just can’t let him get to me, I got to keep moving forward and know that there’s nothing wrong with me, I don’t need him to be happy.

I had a toxic BFF who would constantly abandon me (unless i was being used for an emotional dump and every time I would listen and try and give advice) and even teamed up with her bf(s) to make fun of me. The one time I wasn’t in the best headspace and she berated me for abandoning her, even when I repeatedly gave her advice beforehand. She told me I wasn’t good enough and was being unsympathetic and then dropped me for good, and ngl I felt really good.
