If it makes you feel better, you generally need a certain amount of room behind a treadmill in case you fall off. So the delivery people where probably looking out for your safety 😂
@sydneylynns2 ай бұрын
Yeah for sure 😂 it’s quite dangerous with a wall behind a treadmill incase you pass out or fall!

Rattlesnake tips: stick to the middle of the trail as much as you can, don't have both ear buds in or your music too loud -they will try to warn you with the rattle, and be extra vigilant when you're running. They have less of a chance to get out of your way if you're moving fast. They don't want to be bothered by us anymore than we want to get bitten by them, respect is always the key :) Also: rattlers are more likely to be out and about early morning during hot weather, before traffic gets going on the trail

i watch cody trains to live vicariously though you lol. i have weak leg joints and out of place leg bones and tendinitis and most exercise is just overall super painful for me even thought i’m only 18 (it’s not even from like overuse from being an athlete or something, i’ve just always been fucked for no reason other than genetics i guess). watching you hike and run every day motivates me to do what little exercise i can even though it feels pointless. you’re legit the only fitness influencer that somehow doesn’t make me feel worse about my situation or down on myself. genuinely love this channel, thank you cody ❤

Cody!! I've been keeping up with this channel since your first ultramarathon video and I just wanted to say that it's thanks to you and your wise words to never stop giving up that I've always been able to start going again. After struggling for the last several years with POTS, stress from undergrad, developing joint/tendon issues, starting HRT, and chronic pain and fatigue, I've finally been really pushing myself to be fit and accommodate for myself and signed up for a 10k run for Raptor Conservation in August (I'm a wildlife conservation major so I'm super stoked). It's all thanks to you brother, I honestly thought I'd never be able to like this again. Choo choo!!

I've been a fan of yours for a long time and this channel has been a huge inspiration to me since it started- it's inspired me to get more in shape in general and explore new ways to stay fit! I'm finally OFFICIALLY training for my first 5k!! any kind of endurance training is so interesting and impressive to me, so I hope this is just the tip of the iceberg because I've always wanted to get into running!!! I'm just building up to running a mile and I'm just focusing on improving with every training session right now!! thank you for being an inspiration and making all of us feel like we can be training with someone even if we're training alone- even if I'm trying to go 3 miles and you're casual training is 10 miles- CHOO CHOOOO!!!!!!!! we really do ascend together people, good luck to anyone else who's training for anything!!!!

Saw this pop up on my feed a couple days ago but waited until today to watch it. This morning was my first ever race (Half Marathon). I started training because of this channel then decided to sign up for a race this year. The race went amazing, I remember thinking a couple months ago that doing a half marathon would be impossible, but I did it and I'm so stoked about it. Thank you Cody for always being a great motivator!

Hey Cody! So happy we’re back to weekly videos! Maybe you already know this, but since you talked about getting back into weightlifting I wanted to give you a tip to help your back. Strengthen your core! Our core muscles are much bigger and span wider than our back muscles so keeping it engaged always and doing designated core exercises will help protect your back. Also, this will just help your overall balance and coordination by having a strong core. I know core exercises suck but I promise it’ll help!

I started watching your videos recently and it was during a video with kelsey that i thought... either they both or you cody come from a healthy family core. I cant comprehend it, but i think its amazing that its out there.

You could put a mirror on the wall in front of you for now, at least until you can get someone over to help you turn the treadmill around :) lol I’m editing this to clarify, the mirror can reflect the tv, I’m not suggesting you just watch yourself in it- though that may be entertaining enough in and of itself- it certainly is for us!

My dad is a huge jock and he's basically made of brick. He's always been a huge inspiration for health and movement for me, which I've always struggled with bc I have pancreatitus and adhd, which makes me sleep poorly and my muscles need way more nutrition and attention to grow. Plus I have random days of exhaustion. So strongdads really spoke to me 😂❤
