It’s been exactly a year since I’ve started my weight loss odyssey. I started at over 420 pounds and today weighed in at 280. I’m hoping to hit 250 by my 30th birthday in November. Cody’s videos every week continue to motivate me to get out and get my running workouts in and stay active on my recovery days. This weekend I went on my longest bike ride yet on one of those days and it felt incredible. I’m hoping to get in a half marathon in 2024. Choo choo guys, gals and non-binary pals

Cody, I wanted to tell you how much this channel has inspired me. In 2020 I was diagnosed with heart failure at 30 years old and was almost in need of a heart transplant. When you first started your channel I was so inspired I just started just going on walks. Fast forward to today and I’ve been running now for the past few months and just did my first 5K today. I thought I was gonna die but I did it! I never would’ve thought a few years ago that I could get myself back to where I am now and back on the road to being healthy. I gained a lot of weight because of medications and having to be sedentary but at my last weigh in I have lost 70 pounds since December. Thank you so much for everything you do you’ve inspired me and so many people I love you man.

I’m a new runner thanks to Cody. My daughter just turned a year old and I let the excuses of sleep deprivation and working long hours as a teacher to let my health get out of hand, all while knowing I am heavily at risk of diabetes. Watching these videos inspired me to get my act together and just start training already. I completed my first 5k and began running before work throughout the week and am doing a half marathon in January. Thanks Cody!

I started running consistently late last year and these videos came at a perfect time to help me keep consistent. This past weekend, I just ran my first-ever half-marathon on one of the hottest days of the year in the UK. Couldn't break two hours and came in at 02:13:30, but still so happy and proud! Thanks so much Cody, you're the man for keeping me motivated and consistently trying to physically better myself. 42.2km here I fuckin come!!!

I used to go to the gym 6 times a week for two years after I had gained 30 pounds my sophomore year of college (Quarantine of course). I was in the best shape of my life, but not even that I was healthy and strong and could physically do anything I set my mind to. I started my career job two months before graduating and stopped going to the gym. Eight months later I have lost all my muscle, all motivation, and don’t feel like myself anymore. I used to watch Cody ko while on the treadmill for those two years straight, especially towards the end when Cody trains started. Today, I randomly decided to watch another trains video, and now I am on my way to the gym and hopefully starting this journey again. I hope that this job doesn’t keep me from working out and feeling like myself again. Thank you Cody. Choo Choo, baby!

I've never run a race before and around June this year I decided I better sign up for a long race and without realizing it, I signed up for a trail half marathon (10k is too short, 20k is good right??). I found and picked a race within 20 mins and paid for it. Well, I just ran it and your channel was a big reason I decided to do something like that! Kudos Coardy! Another person moving more because of you.

In June this year I had the inspiration while watching one of your vids to book a trail run (never raced before, longest distance maybe 10km 6 years ago), took me 20 mins to find a race near me that I could run in September and I signed up - well I didn't really consider distances and signed up for a half marathon without knowing how long that could be - it's only HALF a marathon. I freaked out after I found out how long it actually was. Well, I just did it and it was hard but completely doable with some training. Kudos Coardy, you got one more person moving more!

today, I ran a 5K for the first time in four months. recently, i've been struggling with money, taking on double and triple shifts at my job, and, while still doing body workouts everyday, i had little to no time to continue cardio training for a while. watching your channel has given me a lot of motivation and, now having been able to pay off what i needed to, i've found myself training often again and i decided, today, I would tackle a 5K. and i watched this video prior to doing it! and 47 minutes later i finished. I know I can and have done better, but for not running that distance in a very long time, I'm really proud of myself for staying on pace and motivated for 47 minutes. i honestly don't think i would have been able to do it without this channel. so thank you cody :) i cant wait to continue training! I have watched this channel since it started and I have always been a health nut and used exercises as an outlet. Last fall I fell into a deep depression and started to forget how much exercising helps me not only physically but mentally. During this depression, I stopped eating well and exercising altogether, leading me to gain 70 lbs in less than a year. I watched your Ironman video, and that is when I "woke up", and went from rotting in bed all day to walking/jogging 5 miles, and strength training for an hour every day. I saw you train and achieve your goal, so it made me want to better myself. I already knew what it was like to be in shape but I forgot the feeling because I hadn't experienced it in so long. I surprised myself and lost all the weight in less than 2 months. Thank you Cody for inspiring me to better myself.

CODY. Try Z Bars instead of those nature valley ones. The iced oatmeal cookie flavor is amazing! Great pre run fuel!
