Facebook is part of most people's daily routine at this point... and it's free. So why not use this as a way to ENHANCE your connection to your community?
I use the example of growing a Group Exercise class with the use of the online facebook group as a way to HELP grow the class. BOTTOM LINE: we still love real people and real connection. Facebook will always be online, and the product or service you sell has to DELIVER... but what if you could grow numbers by offering extra value online?
Now, wer're talking...
An ONLINE COMMUNITY is still about old school selling tactics, it's just a different medium to reach people. So when you are building a community online, don't forget what it is about:
1- Investing in Others before they INVEST in you.
2- Highlighting others and positive actions to help grow connections to be stronger.
3- Create an experience that delivers more than you ever would receive in payment.
