I needed this, as I was like you. I saw ETM as aerobics and was more sports based but with age, dance really appeals to me so I find myself revisiting my ETM manuals and chasing aerobics classes to build my confidence. Thank you again ❤

Recently joined a new gym. Two of the group instructors frequently get off of the beat of the music (they rush it). I’m a former dancer and long ago band geek, so my sense of rhythm is on point. It is so awkward and physically uncomfortable to be “off” in class because the movement is rushed and does not flow with the beat. Should I respectfully speak to these ladies? I don’t think they realize that they are falling off beat in their classes. I live in an area with many people who also have no sense of rhythm, so I may be the only person in class who is disturbed by it.

What is the best way to master the 32 count so you don’t need to be counting whilst instructing

Love your videos! Thanks! Where can I find info about “Live your 10”? Thanks
Hi Katy. I’m a fellow group fitness instructor and master trainer and love it. I appreciate your talk, however, a little concerned with the “energy reader” you mentioned. With the Lord Jesus, you can ask the Holy Spirit to give you discernment and wisdom, and He will. Regine

I really like the advice here. I am trying to work this 32 count with music beat, but I'm still getting confused. Should I be doing 8 counts 4 times.? Is there a simpler way to help a senior instructor teaching senior groups. Thank you

1. Confidence. 2. Bring the energy -welcome, inviting. 3.connect with people- build rapport- acknowledge folks coming hi, say your name , class what class purpose acknowledge what you are doing- nugget that connects them -doesn’t matter if new or return , say they are where they need to be - 🥰
