This is especially true for postmenopausal women. At 56 and postmenopausal, I have been able to grow long, healthy hair by only trimming the bare ends of my hair to even it (without cutting much length) and by hydrating my hair to reduce breakage by using the following products:

*Some of my other tips for growing long, healthy hair include turning down the heat on hair dryers and styling tools, use a satin scrunchie to put hair up loosely while sleeping and to sleep on a satin pillowcase (in addition to only trimming the bare ends of hair when it gets uneven and using products to keep the hair hydrated so it reduces breakage)

Omg, I’m so happy that you’re back! 🤗 And your hair looks INCREDIBLE! I can’t believe how long it’s gotten. Also, Pantene makes an alcohol free hairspray. Not sure what they use instead to keep the hold, but it does say alcohol free. Lol!❤😘

Oh my word, where have you been. Literally made my day seeing your face 🥰So pleased your back on line sharing your knowledge again. I have tips that are set in stone from yourself from back in the day. ( the cellulite gel for firming ) This video couldn’t have come at a better time as I have been struggling with hair loss for years only to realise recently it’s breaking off and not falling out. I remember you using kloraine years ago and you’ve just reminded me about it.some of the tips I have gathered and use now but hairspray is (Was ) a staple as I’m binning it as we speak and buying the pre shampoo oil. Thank you so much! I hope the pre-shampoo oil helps you as much as it has helped me. Breakage was a big problem for me too and basically just keeping it hydrated and turning the heat down when I do use tools really helps (along with sleeping with it up in the satin scrunchie and pillowcase -- basically anything to reduce the breakage LOL. Hi Anne, I'm so delighted to see you still here! I used to follow your channel all the time (I had a different channel before under my name) but I wouldn't expect you to remember me! When 2020 hit us all, I stopped watching beauty videos at all and was watching health and political stuff only. Super tired of that though and am back here getting tips from the best! It’s so great to see you back Anne! Your hair looks great! We are the same age and I love long hair also. Two game changers for me are things I put in my body. Collagen makes my hair grow like crazy and taking Curcumin daily has stopped my hair from having any fall out. It’s amazing because I use to have it quite a bit in the shower. ❤️

Hi Rachel, thank you so much for watching! I'm sad to say little Charles passed away in April from a large brain tumor that then caused a fatal seizure. We are all so heartbroken! He was just 6 years old which isn't nearly enough time with him. I hope you are doing well!

I'm 74, was using the Maple Biotin shampoo but I'd wind up with Don King hair in the AM. I never use hair conditioner as it weighs my long hair down, nor do I ever use a hair dryer, I just let it dry naturally. Good tips on the clay though, I have one and barely know how to use it. I found you through Jenifer she posted your video. Im so glad that she did because since menopause I’ve had severe hair shedding. All my bloodwork is normal. I tried the red light band but that didn’t help. Im going to try the hair serum. Did you have hair shedding with menopause as well? Would love to see a video on how you apply the serum and how you style your hair, including those clips I’ve never seen them before. Your hair looks stunning!

Yes, I did have some hair shed about a year ago or so (I feel like I had a lot of menopause symptoms over the last few years). I love that serum and it's really easy to use. I just take a dropper full of it (it doesn't fill up the full dropper) and I run the dropper down the center of my scalp and down both temple areas as well (so 3 dropper full, one on each area) then I gently massage it into my scalp. It's not greasy at all (just wet) so you can use it day and/or night. With the clips, I take a section of my hair (like what you would take to backcomb) and I just hold it up straight and place the clip right at the base of the hair up against my scalp (with slightly damp hair) then I let it dry or dry it with a medium heat dryer and take them out and gently comb it like I want it. I'll definitely consider doing a video on it

I took some time off to focus on the family. I have 2 grandbabies in that time that have been keeping me busy, but I'm glad to be back to doing videos too!

Thank you so much!!! I wash mine often probably about 5 days a week on average. I like to use my pre-shampoo oil and then like to wash it out so it is not too greasy/oily. Even with washing it often it has improved in health and length.
