How to: GSR swapped Honda Civic EG Hatch Pt 2: Complete reseal

In this episode, I reseal the B18C1. I replaced the clutch, the rear main seal, the oil pan gasket, installed a header, installed a new timing set, replaced the valve seals, cam cap, cam seals, crank seal, distributor o-ring, vtec gaskets, and valve cover gasket.

I just got finished putting my jdm gsr swap in my eg sedan. Its a very easy swap with not alot of wiring.

Great video! Learned a lot. What’s the difference with the vtec solenoid with filter and with out the filter.

Just a different design on the actual part. the gasket with filter won't fit on solenoid not made for filter.

Hey @the honda resource! Looking for a bit of help. My bros completely stock 2000 crv is having intermittent starting issues. The other day it just wouldnt start. No CEL. I checked for spark, gas, and even hooked up a jumper. All was good. Battery is pretty new, dizzy is brand new, spark plugs are a few months old, starter sounds good. Then about an hour later it started and was good. Any ideas where to look for potential problems?

I would say either distributor or main relay.
