Buy the programs. I've always considered myself a hard gainer because no matter how much I trained I was only getting slightly more tone and slightly more size. Bought the 30 day $20 program and in the past 6 weeks I've gotten best results in a 6 week period in my life. After completing the 30 day program I rearranged his exercises to fit into my preferred PPL split. It's gold.

When I started working out, my two main mistakes were lack of sleep and not eating enough (not being in a caloric surplus). I always thought I was eating enough and was disappointed because my weight stagnated. Then I got my first diet plan created (I think it was from Nextlevel diet iirc). I realised that my previous food intake was way below my needs, although I thought I'm good. At the beginning it was hard to eat 3000 kcal in a day, but I got used to it. I started noticing real gains and it felt amazing. I wish I'd understood the importance of diet earlier.

Ryan is one of the few guys that regularly emphazises the importance of the mind-muscle-connection - this is what matters the absolute most. You have to get to know your body and you have to do your workouts with "feeling". Feeling instead of exact numbers. Since I realized that, my workouts feel so much more significant. I don't even count reps atm, because only then I can fully concentrate on the movement and contraction. Just feels right ^^

Muscle training has been found to have a variety of effects and benefits. For example, simple muscle development, improved memory and basal metabolism. It has also been shown to be effective in relieving stress, preventing depression, and increasing self-esteem, motivation, and memory. Muscle training is expected to have a variety of effects, but this article will focus on the mental aspect. It has been scientifically proven that exercise, not only strength training, has the effect of improving mental health. A study conducted by Harvard University revealed that people with exercise habits are 20~30% less likely to become depressed than those without.

The light weight thing is true, first you’re not exhausting yourself lifting heavy which takes longer to recover from during rest between sets. Lighter weights help you to CONTROL FORM throughout the set. I had a personal trainer a few wks ago. He had me doing 2 plates each on the leg Press counting down from 10 on the way down for 10-12 reps. BURNED LIKE HELL!!! I swear I wanted to cry. Usually I put up 4-5 plates each side 10-15 reps. Don’t sleep on lighter weights, you can do more and the burn is so intense 🔥🔥

What Ryan teaches about connection is the bread and butter of muscle growth, it is exactly what the masters in bodybuilding have been preaching for 60+ years. At the gym today there were these 3 young guys, mid teens, training together on the cable machine. They had so bad form i had to just go over and ask them if they had ever used one of those before. They hadn't, so i showed them how to properly do a couple of movements. Now these guys were skinny as hell, and could barely move any weight. And they were cheating the hell out of everything, using full body movement to get those weight going. When i showed them how to actually do it, they had to drop so low in weight, i saw their ego crumble right in front of me. We are talking 2x5 pounds on chest fly. I told them it's not about strength, it's about getting the connection and feel the burn. They kept going with my advice for like a few sets but then i saw them switch back. They simply couldn't live with the fact that they could barely move the weight of a carton of milk. But this is how it is, muscle growth is a damn slow process, it takes years to pack on some serious mass. And if you cheat on your movements, you are doing yourself a major disservice. Don't go to the gym and waste your time.

What I find amazing is how FAST these growths, that took sooooo long to gain, disappear at three times the rate if you stop working. Muscle mass is expensive to maintain for the body in terms of energy, so every living creature has adapted to develop the least necessary amount to deal with the rigors it encounters. We "hack" that mechanism by lifting something heavy 15-30 times every couple of days so the body responds with growth to handle that load. If we stop that hack the body responds with saving energy and removing the excess muscle mass again. So, you are partially right. Our bodies were meant to have lots of muscle mass and it was meant to loose it again. Being heavily muscled and lightly muscled are both parts of our nature. As a side note, dying early from a sedentary life style is also part of our nature, so all in all I think working out is worth it.

It also depends on what type of training you derived your muscles from . The bodybuilding style or the powerlifting style? Meaning mechiancal tension and muscle damage( powerlifting) vs metabolic stress (bodybuilding) the powerlifting one builds denser muscles than the bodybuilding one and is harder to lose than the bodybuiliding one from what I think

I was doing PPL/6 days a week for months. Not a single increase of muscles or gain. I was also exhausted. Then I tried the bro split/5 week and i began growing. The moral of the story is just because many people said to do PPL, it doesn't mean its what you should be doing. I also like having fun in the gym, so bro split is for me

@@augustljungdell3302 You do not need Roids to get big what do you need to do is eat enough food so that you’re putting on the calories so that your body can trans formed that into muscle. I don’t even use creatine and I’ve been working out for about a year and a half and I’m starting to get big arms you don’t have to use Roids it just takes a lot longer though and a lot of these people you see on KZfaq has been working out for years at a time tired of everybody just saying everybody’s on steroids most of you obviously don’t work out for real

I’m halfway into the programme and it broke me out of the 12-15 reps 3 sets old ways! Ryan’s 0-100 remark is bang on point and when you start his programme just make sure your geared to go from day 1 it’s a killer! And you have a shit load of ice for after the work out because they burn. So far it’s the best money I’ve spent on a programme. You want to change and grow. Spend your money on this. It’s excellent. Thanks Ryan!

It actually kicks your ass when you train with light weight aim for endurance/hypertrophy through metabolic stress Those workouts are the ones where I feel I really test myself. How much pain I can take and just how far I can go. Its awesome
