Today's video is great, but can you do one on how to meet new people when you can't leave the house. ❤🌅🌵😷

This is the biggest contradiction ever lol😂😂😂😂 'meet people' but 'not leave the house' XD then, if you are comfortable with it during this pandemic, invite people at your place:) Good luck

33:45 I often run into that problem with several different people throughout my whole life. At that point, I feel these people would be acquaintances and I personally would not want to waste my time talking with that person, let alone give out personal information about my life to someone you won't see or talk too.

Pretty good episode. I'm more of a Spotify listener but wanted to leave a comment for once. I really appreciate the topics of these podcasts and the ways you approach them.

I just turned off my notication button on Social media. Thanks for saying that and for being self-less about it. Yours is the one podcast I may leave it on JUST BECAUSE you said that.

As someone who's just as old as Tom and haven't seen their friends in awhile, I really needed this. Great podcast!

According to my brain, it's got to do with the pressure. You see... I always know when it's going to rain. The barometric pressure changes and I get a migraine the day before. When I go to altitude the same thing happens, I get a migraine, sleep for a day, acclimate and then I'm better... It's the pressure. ❤🌅🌵😷

In addition to that, it would feel awkward to wish someone a "Happy Birthday/(whatever current holiday)" if you haven't kept in touch with them for long periods of time. So before you go wish something to someone, reflect on how often you talk to the person and how recent was your communication.

"Move in 6 weeks early for free!" What a great lead-in for a discussion of flexible planning - adapting your life plan to take advantage of a "target of opportunity." Oh! Old men - now you're in my wheelhouse. Nobody wants Grampa to call when they just got the new baby to sleep. I always start with "you got time for a chat?' - And figuring out how to gracefully end or decline a chat is a useful social skill. Our church "Senior Connect" - one of the first things a new volunteer is asked to do is call shut-ins. Sounds easy enough until you run into someone who doesn't remember they are a member of the church.

Call anyway. If it's inconvenient, they let it go to voicemail. That's what voicemail is for! ❤🌅🌵😷

To me a general invite is show up if you want....there will be people there. But a personal invite is: come and sit by me, I'll talk to you. So, I'm more likely to show up for a personal invite, especially the first few times. ❤🌅🌵😷

Lol, no shade to transplants (I'm not one of THOSE natives) but it's hilarious how you can always identify a transplant by the complaints about dryness here rather than about humidity elsewhere 😂

I never graduated or formally received a college degree but here, my third degree point of view, honestly, maybe, half of the frat houses are not at all unethical, it just, well just is a light weight word, they just don't think there is anything wrong with Greek culture behavior, although, I been spying on and continously accusing them of being wild party animal who make nonsense with their English in suit and ties...

Yannik Raiss CULT MEMBER QUESTION: How do you guys balance your work with your private (and especially social) lives? I‘m an entrepreneur myself and have been focussing heavily on work for the last couple of years. Despite making great progress in anything I tackle, I often find myself alienating my friends, family and my girlfriend, with whom I live together. How do you do it, Tom? What does Annie think of your work-life balance?
