I love this encourage your child to have an open mind. Okay what words do you say to a 5-year-old brain that encourages them to have an open mind about the food? That's the component that we're all missing here you can tell us to encourage give us all these adult terms all day long but until we know how to convert those terms into actual phrases and words to use with the child nothing's going to happen

My grandson 7 refuses to try veggies, fruit, no candy I have cooked and made far to much food to making his sandwiches into a car, bear amd he looks at it and gags to even vomiting?school has tried everyday at lunch! Only thing he eats is nuggets, fries and Jerry to maybe a burger fr McDonald's only! Yes chicken fried rice he will eat once n blue moon! I worry n worry and make alot of different things to yes I probably made everything you can think of! Then he will go days w put touching a thing! I have raised him since birth and yes I got rid of his fits which took 2 yrs but everyday in public (ppl was giving him the fits) he has been fit free for 3 straight yrs and the doctors still can not believe it which idkn why I figured his prob out but this food thing is making me loose it lol

Can another child's food allergies affect another child when the child with food allergies is given certain foods, and the other child with out the allergies isn't able to eat regular foods due to the child with allergies. My 6 year old was eating certain foods but now is getting very ill and won't eat. I'm getting very worried and I believe he is mal nourished due to not being able to eat certain foods while having his cousin with food allergies around.

I guess. Personally i have developed what i call second-hand taste aversions (even as an adult). For example, my mom is quite allergic to spirulina and after seeing her get sick from it several times, I have become quite turned off and try to avoid anything containing spirulina (though I am not allergic to it at all myself).

If they get hungry, they will eat. Catering to a few kid foods creates picky eating. Parents buy the groceries.

not in this case as the child has eating issues beyond being picky like sensory issues, taste/texture aversions.

Have you heard of Austim?

@@brendareyes3293 Autism? Yes. I have a few family members who are autistic. And even with sensory issues, kids can be taught not to be picky. Parents buy the groceries.
