"Where's the ball gunna' go!?" was Luke overriding thought with the driver and longer clubs. Here's how the force you create through the ground can be a lot different as your clubs get longer and the loft lowers...

The sound off the driver blew me away😳 his driver swing looks almost short and rushed but he looked so controlled and effort less at the same time! I’ve watched so many of these vids and am impressed every time! Wish I could have come to you at some point years ago before I gave up on the game! Still love the game but have never been able to move past 100 with fat shots after fat shots! Maybe one day! But in the mean time I enjoy watching all these guys get the chance to improve and that makes me feel so happy! Great Marcus, keep it up!

Amazing what a difference a good instructor can make - so many of us struggle with trying to figure out what we're doing wrong on our own. I recently played with a guy who had a horrible swing and blamed his terrible playing on not playing in a few years and how he just needed to swing more. Learning your way around a bad swing isnt the answer - go get a damn lesson... LOL

Can't wait till we can actually hit some balls again. I've had lessons with Marcus but one of the big things I've picked up from his videos recently is the flexion and extension in the knees to create the rotational, vertical AND lateral forces (squat down/up to rotate back and then squat down/up to shift pressure and rotate through) with club in hand it feels like an age before the club snaps through from behind me...

great stuff. When I try to translate the feel, I try to think about me swinging as left as possible, which gets my weigh in the correct position and then my athleticism takes over. Enjoying these video's.

So refreshing to hear you speak about how the club shallows naturally. I've had about enough of golf instructors teaching how to shallow the club with the hands/arms, etc. Instructors had us chasing lag for years and it's ruined many a swing. Now they've got us chasing shallow. It's an effect not a cause.

I agree 100%. Been to 4 top ten instructors and they are clueless-. Learning has to be tied to biomechanics. Marcus uses similar methodology for all players. As referenced above, should be called "RHV". Just need to learn to sequence rotation, horizontal and vertical movements. Has helped my game substantially in last month.

Middle, The more I watch and listen to Marcus, the more I learn and comprehend. There are a number of knowledgeable teachers and coaches who know their stuff an impart it very well. @@themiddleman781 Middle, I am in the process of translating the teaching into golf movement. It is replacement of the bad with the more efficient. It is not consistent yet, but our season is very young up here in New England. I am feeling new things in the golf swing. I am also recovering from a significant injury, so I incorporate new athletic movement slower, but I am seeing forward progress. Straighter golf shots, more power, better balance. That tells me everything I need to know. Wish like hell I could meet up with Marcus as I'm certain he would accelerate my learning, but I'm 3500 miles away. His videos are a God send and have put me on the path.

Interesting how his initial shots he has a ‘styler’ finish, he pushes the club round his neck to affect and manipulate a followthrough; lots of extraneous motion. Whereas when he starts connecting with it by the end he gets all the energy energy into the clubhead and the swinging club pulls him into a finish. In fact he’s trying to contain the flying clubhead by the end on the best swings. Amazing difference.

@@jamesdenny5078 At the end of the day there is a consistent approach, not changing methods. This system attunes you to the forces you need to self organise efficiently.
