I love it. I appreciate this video. I vibe with it very hard.

When I started I felt fake. Covering myself up in makeup, padding, clothes that draws the eye and gives false shapes etc. constantly worried that I stood out like a sore thumb - then I realised that's exactly what cis women go through every day! That's when the penny dropped that I wasn't fake. At all. That was a breakthrough.

wow even i failed to acknowledge everyday woman thoughts. how people feel when they think their hips aren’t big enough, too big? the size and shape of their breasts, the way their hair looks and if it looks good on them. “is this makeup too much? too weird? do these make my eyes look bigger? can people tell it’s caked on my face? this outfit looks stupid doesn’t it?” yes you are feeling it, beauty is so pesky.

Hey sis! As a trans female body builder (Grew most of my muscle after starting transition), the exercise you were mentioning is the abductor machine known colloquially as the 'Good girl, bad girl' machine. I recommend doing those and hip thrusts to build hips and butt. With correct form, you will 100% see growth after a month if you are progressively adding weight. Important part! Make sure you are eating enough protein, don't starve yourself (Please), and look up professionals do any exercise you are going to do as to ensure your form is correct, then start light to make sure you are doing correct form. Also if you get any ads with someone saying there's this one simple exercise xyz just ignore them. The rest of the fitness community does as they try to sell a quick fix to people who don't know any better. Much love ❤ Cheers

Icky: "Avoid tight things like skinny jeans or shirts". Me before dressing as a woman (Man): *Wears tight jeans and shirts and loves it not knowing that one day I decide to transition* Me right now, even though I get what she is saying: F it, I still love them and gonna wear them even if I am not there yet. Also wanted to thank you for having this channel. It helps me by a mile shot getting tips I would have to scower the internet for. I was always a "Manly man" by wearing a beard, dressing like a nerdy gay (I am Bi) and even one of my female family members always noted, that I am kind of an atipical man. That I am more of a woman. Oh if she knew how right she was. I have had the idea for such a thing for a long time, but for self esteem and mental reasons decided not to. This year I feel more confident and happy then ever and so I decided to go through with it and guess what I love it. I feel more confident in myslef, though I am not yet confortable to come out to my relatives, that live quite far away and also in public I am still going out as a male. But today I did come out to my best friend, and today he has shown me why he is my best friend since first grade, when he said: "This is awsome. If it fills you with joy and makes you feel good about yourself, then please do it. Life should be about having fun and to be able to do whatever you like, since you only have one and one shouldnt waste it. In a way youre doing the same thing as me, when I go to the gym. I want to feel good about my looks and about myself. Remeber, we are not in the middle ages and yes some people might not like it, but f them. They are not living your life." I have to add that I am from a very conservative family for context. And I know this might not interest alot of people, but what he told me and how he reacted makes me a billion times more confident, and so I hope this message can help more people, just like it did to me. Also giving you a sub and turned on notifications. Keep doing the good work.

the context of skinny jeans changed over years tho. at the very beginning of the emo boom around 2003-2005, you couldn't find men's skinny jeans ANYWHERE. we all wore women's skinny jeans, and y'know what? we got told we looked girly (teenage me would say "good, i wanna look girly" but not come out for another decade lmao). skinny jeans are fuckin great, they emphasise your ass and legs, and it might not be the most high-femme look in the world but who cares? cis women don't dress high-femme nearly as much as a lot of people think. you do you x

Hello, I just wanted to say that as a cis woman whose shoulders are also wider than their hips and has a rectangle body shape. I used to feel like I wasn’t really womanly. I just kind of had to say there’s many kinds of versions of what womanly looks that that changes over the years in terms of trends, but all of our body types have always existed forever too. I’ve been told by another woman not to worry that I would get my adult body soon, as an adult lol. This is my adult body and each body shape has its own charms. Maybe this might help someone ❤. Also all of these clothing tips or exercise tips are all the same thought process I have too. Like maybe wanting to wear shape wear but feeling like I’m cheating somehow, or the flared jeans on the bottom, flared skirt and a tight top.

tbf, broad shoulders are also something created by male puberty. i had blockers, so i never went through male puberty, but every woman on my moms side of the family has broad shoulders and i got them too, since i was born. It's an insecurity, but also insecurities among these things are more common in trans people because of the fact that they would look different if they were cis.

I'm AFAB but I talk about this exactly so muchhh. I'm like: broad shoulders, broad ribcage, no t'ts (lol), small waist tho (W), and kinda mid hips. What I've done a lot is move "the waist of my outfit"(the line where your outfit transitions from your bottom👖 to your top👕) higher up than most standard length shirts will do, and therefore not letting the standard waist clothes cover up my actual decent waist and make me look like a bOx. I've done this by wearing tight or cropped shirts with high-waisted/over-sized pants (or low-waisted bootcut pants if you feel like you look good in them). A good hack if you don't like showing too much skin is to wear high-waisted pants with the crop top, as it allows you to wear shorter tops without showing extra skin. I've somehow created the illusion of an hourglass body which makes people think I have nice t'ts even tho I'm flat and it's legit just cause of the broad shoulders making the top half of the hourglass complete. Love yous, gl

It might also help to keep your eyes open for features you possess in other people. I think there's a good chance that seeing such a feature on the right someone else can give you a different perspective and make you feel better. I'm nonbinary, so it could be that the dysphoria was never as severe for me - but I at least was able to make peace with three things about myself that way - didn't plan for it, but maybe one can do it intentionally too.

One thing I wish people didnt say is that losing weight will always help. Im a plus sized t-girl and as long as you have your hormones in the right range, gaining weight can help. Im a big girl, and have wider hips and a bigger hip to waist ratio than most cis women. Wider hips than my shoulders etc. Adding size can help hide your bone structure too, at least if you have the genetics for it. Just ya know, be safe about it and stay healthy.

It's interesting how many of these tips work both for feminizing or masculinizing your wardrobe depending on your body, your goals, and how you combine the advice. I personally wear the jacket + baggy trousers combo to make my shoulders bigger and my legs more uniform, but the same combo can be used to hide shoulders and accentuate your hips. It really depends on what type/style of clothing you're going for, what clothes you have, and how you wear them. Cool stuff!

I know straight cis women that have shoulders like dock workers. I wish more trans girls saw that. It would make them considerably less self-conscious about it. I am male and have shoulders that are just about the same as my hips. My brother gets so pissed off because he is about the same and wanted to bulk up his upper body without any success. That’s body dysphoria in him, even though it isn’t as pronounced as in the trans community. You’re you babe. Some things you can’t alter, even with surgery. The thing to remember is that cis women have shoulders too. Don’t beat yourself up over it. Exercise to work on your hips and narrow your waist, so those shoulders top off that perfect hourglass.

I beileve the muscle you were refering to was the Tensor Fasciae Latae, which connects the hips to the femur on the outside of the body.

My fashion question is: How do you think you would deal with being over sized, it’s not just a trans problem - Cis girls where the smallest size you can wear is L or XL because your built to a larger scale, clothes are too wide not long enough, just finding stockings long enough for your legs - it’s one thing to try and find clothes that would look good on you but then clothes that actually will fit your frame.

I basically live in skinny jeans, Its one of the few bottoms that i can wear and feel comfortable. I think my "problem area" is my ribcage and shoulder size, but i mostly just try to ignore it.

as a cis girl you are so right with shapewear not being cheating, i wear shapewear sometimes just to feel confident!!

So true! And women have been wearing shape wear for centuries. Victorian wore both corsets and layers of skirts + padding to achieve the ideal shape. I don't really see why it should be shamed now! Probably better than getting dangerous and intrusive surgeries.

Born female. My shoulders are much wider than my hips. Lucky for me i'm genderqueer/transmasc, so I love it. But women can have broad shoulders and skinny hips.

Girl, I think you should create a video about women wigs. Where to buy good ones, how to take care of them, how to choose the right one, etc. Also, about using one when it's really hot (like Summer time). I think it is definitely a problem area for a lot of trans women who couldn't get hormones in their teenage years and could only transition after 18 years old.

@@jadeviper1290 yeah, you're right. But I thought she might have wore one in the past? I remember her showing some pictures and talking about a wig that didn't look natural, and later about a natural one or something like that

Great advice and encouragement! Obviously there are very narrow hipped cis women and guys with quite big bottoms, so trans people are/can be 'well within parameters', so asto speak! Your bottom looks great!!! Xxx

I have a few suggestions, one could you make a video of how to like grow out your hair, like starting. Without looking like a hobo who doesn’t get haircuts. And also maybe cover like SUPER long legs in your videos at some point like you talk about the “new waist” but I personally can’t do that with my sweat pants and stuff because they ride up too far with my long legs.
@silvonnie4805
@silvonnie4805 6 ай бұрын
And I know the “new waist” isn’t like a requirement but I really would like to because it’s one of the only things I can do as a closeted trans women so if you have any ideas please let me know 😭

Same shoulders thing. I always wear two or THREE pairs of small shorts under everything, its practically underwear for me now. And that adds a bit of weight to my middle and makes my clothes look sooo much better and makes me feel so much more comfortable

small top big bottoms is in style right now, and its perfect for this issue. the big wide leg pants make your hips and legs look bigger and the small tight top makes your torso look smaller while also making your boobs look bigger. Unfortunately its mostly good for us skinny girls so if you're bigger i don't know if this applies. good luck girlies
