This is what Nino Schurter says: "If you don't have the right pressure, you'll be slow." The air pressure to put into MTB tires is fundamental, but many don't give it the importance it deserves. Let's see how to find the right pressure for every situation.
Let's debunk a myth right away: THERE IS NO PERFECT PRESSURE FOR ALL! In other words, we can't simply tell you: "Front at 1.3 bar and rear at 1.5 bar" or perform a mathematical calculation between tire width, tire shoulder structure, rider weight, and atmospheric conditions to achieve the ideal pressure result. Everyone has THEIR perfect pressure and finds it after many trials and with field experience. However, there are small tricks and "protocols" that allow us to acquire this information more quickly and thus reach our "Holy Bar."
