Installation procedure for Yamaha R6 racing-levers by TST Industries.
This product is a set of clutch and brake two finger levers, commonly called "shorty levers", for 2006 to 2016 Yamaha YZF R6. They provide better feel, adjustability, and greater mechanical advantage than stock levers. They also have a lesser tendency to break off during a crash. In case of a mishap you will have a better chance of riding your bike home if your controls do not get damaged. The six levels of adjustment enable you to dial in the distance from bar to lever for improved, personalized feel. The increased mechanical advantage allows for using less force to achieve the same effect; when you install a set of these and take that first ride you won't believe just how much better these feel over the stocks. We currently offer these in black+silver+red anodized (as in the pictures). The levers are constructed of high grade aluminum with stainless steel hardware. Designed and machined using modern computer and CNC technologies. The best part is that our levers cost much less than the competitors' with the same or better quality !
** If you are tempted to purchase those cheap imitations that have popped up on the internet beware!!! In this case you DO get what you pay for. Do yourself a favor and read other riders' experience with those cheaper levers on forums. You will see that there is no substitute for a high quality set of levers.

for standard bearing grease you can go to any local automotive supplier and ask for bearing grease. For Belray you can look on the internet to see local and web suppliers of Belray.

Just used this tutorial. Great video. Only issue I had was that clutch tensioner, getting it just right. But I got it and the brake side was ridiculously simple. Thank you!

You're welcome. I'm glad our video helped you. This video is actually pretty old and its quality is pretty bare bones. I hope you can find the time to see some of our newer videos and see how we improved our production quality over the years.

Thanks for the vid! Wondering if I should grease the clutch cable at the point where it goes into the lever and maybe an inch from that as well?
@TSTindustries

grease is a friend of the clutch cable. Go ahead, just don't leave a bunch of exposed excess.

Keep in mind that your brake is your lifeline. I would advise against any questionable brake setups.

What kind of grease do u put on the clutch

In this particular video I used a Valvoline general purpose bearing grease. If you want something with longer life use the Belray waterproof grease.
