In this video we show how to install fuel injectors and map sensor in a 5.7L HEMI engine. This procedure is fairly simple but does take some time and attention to detail. Fuel pressure must be reduced and then the large fuel rails will still hold quite a bit of fuel. Special clips and connectors hold the fuel injectors in place and in this video we cover the removal process step by step as well as installing the new performance fuel injectors into the fuel rail and intake manifold.

When working on injectors and fuel rails pull the fuel pump fuse or re route feed back line and let run until it stalls and will relieve all pressure in the system before disconnecting. Great work tho 👍🏻

Very well down. I haven't any work since 20 yrs ago but you video and only yours was well done. However, i wish you might shown a little more on the driver side it is a little more cworded. but i am sure i will get it done. There was one that happened with me maybe not everyone but all of my clips were sprung getting off but a little squeeze with the pliers put them back in shape.

Nice ive got a d1sc ready to go in once I buy new injectors. procharger only comes with 39.5lbs injectors. My 400 ci needs 65 lbs injectors so I just ordered the tuner kit. diablo sport tuning here no HP.

I’m sure I know answer to this. If I am doing a 5.7 swap to 6.4 manifold I should do the fuel pressure release also when I start the swap? I’m about to do one on my 2021 1500 Rebel and am just getting the last bit of info I need to do the work myself. Thanks man. Again you have help me a lot on past with your videos

I am getting ready to swap out my spark plugs and coil packs, my fuel injectors, and the leak detection pump. I've personally put on 92,500 miles on my 16 Ram 1500 so, I want to give it an overhaul rather than picking away at each item. I noticed my fuel economy took a serious dive so, I am hoping my fuel system will start performing a lot better than it has been. I've been burning close to 6 Gallons of gas every 30 miles on a 24 Gal tank. I watched your videos on everything I've mentioned and have been researching coil packs, even sought out the socket you were using with a swivel. Would ENA be considered a good way to go. The money I am spending is starting to add up, but the fuel loss far out weighs this set up on money spent. I just don't want to get into the $30 coil packs O'Really wants to sell. just curious: is it recommended to replace the sensors with a tuneup? I am due for new plugs, etcetera and overdue for injector cleaning, but I replaced the MAP, EGR, PCV valves less than 50K miles ago.

I'm having problems where some of my injector harness don't have the red clip but when trying to put the harness on the new injectors it doesn't clip in when pushing it together it just continues to pop back up a little .

I have installed some 50lb fuel injectors in my 2014 ram 1500 5.7 and it runs but around 80mph the rpms are staying at 4000 and won’t go any faster . I am running a 91 oct tune in it . Would I just need a new tune for the new set of injectors

I had a question in the video at approximately 8 minutes and 45 seconds the O-ring comes out from the top of the fuel injector and the rail but you put it in the bottom of the fuel injector is that correct does it belong on the top where it came out from or on the bottom of the fuel injector

There are o rings on the top and bottom of the fuel injector to seal on both sides so you have to make sure you have them both on so you don’t get a leak from either side

Having nothing but issues on my 13. Keeps showing a misfire on cylinder 6. Did the plugs and put a new coil pack, worked for a tank of gas with some injector cleaner in it. Now it's doing it again. Gonna try an injector next, just praying its not a stuck lifter

Why do you have to remove the fuel pump fuse, what happens if you leave it on?

when the fuse is removed the pump wont work so when you start the truck It will burn the fuel in the line thats still under pressure and no more fuel will come out of the tank so there isnt anymore pressure in the line after it runs for 2 seconds.

Pulled into a place the other night and my Ram just died,tried cranking it, it slow cranked but wouldn't fire,waited about 30 minutes,it fired up and the lifters were clattering,drove it down the street,it quieted down so I drove it home, engine light came on so I had it diagnosed, was throwing a bad injector code,would that cause this to happen ? It seems to be running fine now

Just found a broken ground under my 2013 2500, we have a misfire aswell, injector is the only thing I haven't tried, but maybe check the grounds

Sounds like you may have the dreaded failed lifter which eats the cam lobe... Causing a misfire. One way to check is pull the valve cover and crank the engine. You should see the suspected bad valve spring moving less than the others. This issue is well documented by others and the only fix is to replace the cam and lifters.

I sold my K&N since I knew I wouldn't need it with the procharger and could use the funds elsewhere. I did like the K&N intake while I had it though. Sounded awesome! 😎

Leave your door open when tuning. System does not do a complete shutdown ... when you turn the ignition off with your dot closed you’ll notice you dash and stereo are still on.......

Hello my 2011 Ram 5.7 Hemi have misfire on cylinder 2 but injector inspectioned with apposite machinery result ok and is well also spark plugs. Engine turn on 7 cylinders, there is not metallic noise for think at lifter and cam. Where is the problem? May be the ECU ?

I ran into the same issue, and believe you cannot check it unless you splice in and add a Schrader valve.

Tuna Fish you pull the fuse so the fuel pump doesn’t try to pump when you’re starting it. He was just trying to get the fuel out of the injectors so he didn’t have a huge mess.

Yeah the procharger instructions tell you to disconnect the battery before yanking the fuel pump fuse. I personally think it's probably unnecessary to disconnect the battery first but you never know with these computers it could freak out.

Just changed the spark plugs & coils on my Ram sport. I keep getting a misfire on cylinder 3. Anybody else had this problem??

Try swapping the injector on cylinder 3. Injectors are really easy to swap, I didn’t even disconnect the fuel line.. there’s enough play to get by. Just make sure you have towels or something to catch the fuel that comes out.
