Wouldn't it be better pop off off the pillars, to avoid the possibility of interfering with the air bags?

I do have other videos taking off the A pillar. The wires are simply tucked in and are not secured to anything. When the air bags go off the wires will not interfere with the air bag and will not prevent or stop the air bag from engaging.

Only if the the power socket does not power off when the car turns off.

When you put your car in reverse does your camera automatically switch to the rear?

When you turn on your car, the rearview mirror will displaying the reverse camera. When you put your car in reverse, the back up camera is then switched on with grid lines. The reverse back up camera only works when the the red wire is connected to your reverse light.

@@JDdashcams ok Ill check my connections. Because it does not automatically switch. Thanks. I may have a faulty unit. My time and date reset when i restart the car. Update: Adjusted GMT in s settings, and pressed down really hard on splicer. Thanks again.
