Simple, to the point, complete. Nice work. I will run an intermediate water hose to check for leaks at the dishwasher before I put it in. That's just me. Great video.

Any idea why Bosch requires 6" of clearance to a side wall? Also, the manual isn't clear where the 6" is referenced from...edge of cabinet? Interior wall of side tub?

Every DW I’ve installed has the 3/4 water connection where you need the 3/8 adapter.

Any way to cover the insulation that is on the back of the front panel? The kickplate is behind it and unfortunately our kitty had been eating the insulation before we figured out what he was doing! He threw it up. We have to stack heavy boxes in front of the dishwasher and stuff towels behind the insulation until we can figure out a solution! We are desperate to find a way to block him from the insulation. We can' t use any rubber because he will eat that (ask me how I know -- we now have a new washing machine because he ate the silicone seal of our previous one:(

Hi, you just press the buttons to select the program before closing the door. :)

I just bought one and they no longer have physical buttons. It’s touch sensitive, and can only be operated while the door is open. They also took a step back removing the countdown display although that really just adds another point of failure.

Well, I do believe the water connection will differ between models. You might very well need the adapter kit for the Bosch. Cheers!

It should power on without issue. Have you checked to see if a fuse tripped?

WOW , most dishwashers are wired in you really said nothing about that and that you may need an electrician to put a outlet, which you showed nothing about, also I understand getting the dishwasher level side to side but where do you put a level to get front to back level?? all in all very nice video, love the pooch

There’s an adapter kit sold separately where a junction box is installed. I don’t like this solution.

According to the Bosch website: "Can I run Bosch dishwasher with cold water? Yes, our dishwashers work without hot water and we do recommend connecting the appliance to cold water unless you have an energetically favourable means of generating energy from a suitable installation, e.g. solar heating system with circulation line."

How do u know when the back leg is high enough ?

You can test it with a level, before pushing it all the way in. You should also notice whether or not it's level based on how the racks pull out. They should pull out, nice and even, parallel to the floor. Cheers!

Hey Tom, we had our dishwasher delivered today and it has a ding on the right side (black mastic?) and the stainless steel is showing. Do you know if is an issue? It's a bosch 300 series. Thanks!

No, I don't see why that would be an issue. I mean if it's dented or scratched maybe you could call the seller and get a partial refund for the blemish. But, it won't be seen when mounted anyway.

Yes, I know. I have installed one of these in both the USA and Germany. I don't know why Bosch designed the American ones to require an adapter.

@@beckyrockz348 Do you have a short video? There shouldn't be an air clog in such a line, but maybe the drain pipe is not sealed well enough somewhere. A video would help.

@@TomsTutorialsAndHowTos unfortunately I don't have a short video, bcz as soon as the hot water splashed out of the drain pipe, I turned off the dishwasher inbetween while it was running. I don't know what to do as it's a 3 days holiday here in Paris.
