6 ft number 12 wire 220 20 amp breaker all they call for is number 12 wire

Here you go Paul I made it the only thing I would suggest is as I said in the description when you're done vacuuming before you release the gas close the gauges I didn't it wasn't that big of a dea l but still it's something that didn't need to be done

Well.... by you asking that question.. That means you're not running the same unit as me I installef seven of these units on my apartments I got the 220volt 9000btu It does come in 110 volts But personally I believe that's nowhere near as good In all of electrical systems 220 is way better than 110 It costs way less to run Because it starts faster with less power drawn than 110 volts I believe it lasts way longer also Because it doesn't take as much to start And it is starting constantly Even as an inverter But if I have to answer your question Assuming you have 110 volt system that you are installing And it was me And I could assure that the receptacle that I was using to draw the power from Was not being overloaded Or even used at all During the 675 times it needs to start every single day To maintain temperature And there was no way I could run a new home run to the system Then and only then Would I feel comfortable Doing what you are proposing It's hard to give a good answer On KZfaq replies If you want a more elongated answer Text me at Jon 541-660-7805 I'll walk you through the ins and outs of the system installation

It says 15 amps But it's a continuous draw every single time it starts up And it starts up a lot Because it's trying to maintain a certain temperature in your room They are very inexpensive to use because they are inverters And the 110 volt systems Draw a lot more amps than the 220 volt systems They don't come with a plug to plug it into a wall outlet They want you to put it in a shut off box I always encourage everybody to go with 220 volt systems Because they simply cost less and they are way more efficient But you do you....🥰 To answer your question It's possible it could work It's not legal But if you are installing it yourself You could give it a shot If I was up against the wall And had no other choice I would give it a shot I would also make sure that nothing else is on that line drawing power Because you are definitely at the peak of the amperage allowed for that line And if something else is drawing power from the line it would definitely be overheating

It's no wonder people are perplexed mrcool sells a unit that the lines are pre-charged and so he gets away with that they don't have to vacuum anything because the lines themselves are pre-charged Senville does not have lines that are pre-charged the exterior unit is pre-charged the lines are empty waiting for vacuuming before you release the air from the exterior unit into the system

It's way better to ask for forgiveness than permission Every legislator will tell you... no But it's all very simple and if you get it all done but you don't have a vacuum then you can just have one of those HVAC guys come out and service it and they will pump it for you and release the gas into the system

The aura unit comes with instructions that show 220 volt supply with breaker for the blower. Not covered here. so there should be two cables to the wall unit. One from the breaker box, either through the external breaker to a designated breaker for the blower or from a separate breaker in the main box. It's 220 so it must be a 220 breaker. And the communication cable which in some cases must be lengthened. The communication wire size is 16-4. 14 gauge should work fine for the blower.
