Love the look of the interior colour combo, that oil cooler looks great

I😮 have Jcw Brembros with Mintex M115 track pads and mintex cryogenic treated discs which super hardens them reducing warping unlike alot of other discs I have had. But alot was down to the R53 not having any brake cooling. I have not installed a brake kit I would recommend looking at JDH Customs. Been tracking my R53 for 12 years so hit me up if you have any questions. Luv the build 👍

If you really want to go big brake kit, then it is AP, AP or AP. Anything far eastern made, like KSport, and anything far Western made, like Wilwood, are just awful. Really awful. But... You really won't need a big brake kit. And that's coming from someone who's always had AP's or Alcons on his cars since 2000. Get the MINI down to 1100kg or less, fit R56 calipers up front with Nitrac discs and Carbotech pads all round and you'll have more than ample stopping along with a nice pedal feel and modulation still. That, and the JDH brake ducts as have already been suggested will work amazingly. I've run mine in 38 degrees all day and not had any issues. And I'd definitely go for 16s not 17s...

Oil cooler looks really good. I've got the Airtec intercooler and air intake so might as well get their oil cooler as well

What happens with the other metal coolant hose as in the video it just hangs there with open ends ??

I can figure out how to install the thermostat. Like what hose goes to the top connection and what hose goes to the below connection. Coming from the airtec plate. Does it really matter. Do you have tips?

Is that going to be a hassle to remove when you have to put the car in service mode?

Heeeey. Ive run the Ksport 8pot for abiut 14 years now. Just had aome fresh powdercoat and redid the pistons and seals. When I got em apart, they looked brand new and didnt need the refresh, but glad I did it. I do have a slight older model bbk from Ksport, but I would assume its just an exterior design. I run them on mw 2002 Nissan Sentra Ser Specv. Its been turboed making about 300hp, anything beyond that is usless, especially on the track. I late brake hard and the brakes come on everytime. I've never had to second guess my braking and never had fade. I did upgrade the rear tmrotor to a bigger option that helped with the front rear break bias. I'd say get a dual pot back there at least, but ive been fine with a single. If you dont know the Sentra is a fwd nissan, sedan that shares some chassis with the Almera, but comes standard with a qr25de, i believe you got the qr25dd, but our us version is not direct injection. I look forward to seeing more videos, just picked up a r53 cooper s for my daughter. So thats what brought me here.
