Some AV's like the height in front, others in the rear- double check unless you already did it- how did it turn out?

@@MOAB-UT I am in a new build and the wiring for the heights were kinda mid room. I did the install (5.2.1 setup) and it sounds great!

@@kevinmartin8735 That's great. At any time you can always add 2 more speakers. If you wire two 8 on speakers in parallel it drops down to 4 ohms. If you're not cranking it for hours you should be just fine that's what I did. Most receivers can handle a 4 ohm load. For your next upgrade get a 7. 1 with Atmos it will sound even more fantastic.

I like to straighten out a coat hanger wire and send it into the attic instead of the screw. Easier to locate when your lost in the attic.

Curious how you located speakers left and right as compared to couch? Ultimately I know ceiling joist will be a constraint, but curious how close to a balance to seats

Question on these speakers and the spray in insulation. Will it cause a fire if the insulation is touching the back of these ceiling speakers? Also what is the recommended wiring for these speakers? Guage and or type of wire. Thanks!

I would make a box out of xps foam board and cover over the speaker. Keep that vapor barrier tight and prevent moisture leaving your house during the winter.

Yep, I saw that video, it was good but as an installer I thought I could add few tips and tricks. I made another ceiling speaker install video about 7 years ago but this one is better.

Dude u dont answer your ig account or videos on here , might be cause they old videos but if u do answer id like to chat run by you what my tv is doing and see if u can have an answer i switched the power board and your people sent a bad one so they sent another and tv still shuts off let me know if u can help

How come no one has an install in a basement that’s finished. Everyone is doing these vids in a ranch style house one the first floor and going in the attic
