We are now offering our all in one SANCTUM seat heating and cooling ventilation system specifically designed for your new body Ford F Series seats. These thermoelectric devices (TED units) change the temperature of air being blown through the seats based off the electrical current feeding them. This gives you an efficient and powerful climate controlled seat that is based on and sourced from some of the best OEM systems out there. Included with every unit is a 5 pin 30A relay so that you can regulate the power only when the vehicle is on. We also include a hole cutting template set that gives you a perfect outline for cutting the mounting holes for the switches, pads, exhaust tubes, and ted units. These SANCTUM seat ventilation units are fairly universal however we have specially modified the distribution pads for the 2015-2020 Ford F-150 and 2017-2017 Ford SuperDuty seats. Doing an install in my Audi A5, obviously no guide on one of these German cars so I'm winging it, just curious as to the technique about enlarging and locations of more holes in the pads. I'm going to the leather shop some time next week and curious about how the size reduces airflow. Thanks for any guidance you can give me

Cool video, can you do aftermarket heated seats on the back, like the 502 package has? I have cooled and heated in the front but would like to add heat to the back seats in the crew cab. Keep up the good work!

hi great vid! I have a 2016 f-150, 2 questions. Is this a plug and play system or do I have to run wires. And will these work with Katzkin perforated leather seat covers?

Thanks for the comment! 1- This is a very involved installation and if you are installing DIY, you will need to run some wiring and have some vehicle wiring experience. 2- Regardless of brand, the upholstery will need perforation and a high-flow backing to work properly. So if you already have heated seats can you just add ventilation? Can you use the existing heating button to also ventilation? This is for 2020 Honda Accord.. Thank you

I have 2017 F150 xlt sport and upgraded to Lariat seats, what components do you have available so i can power up my seats? passenger side has the power working but nothing on the drives seat. The ventalated and heat does not work on both seats.

Lynda Smith No, this system will replace the factory heat. The heating and cooling functions work in tandem on these units because of the Peltier effect and they also require proper airflow to work which would be blocked by the factory heating pad.

what if you already have a heat button and you just want to add a cooling button? That way you dont have two heat buttons and one not be functional

Our seat heating/cooling ventilation unit only comes in the heating/cooling configuration, so we do not offer a cooling-only option. Since this system will replace your factory seat heating system completely, the wiring and switches from the system will, unfortunately, no longer be functional. Depending on your model, the placement for the heating/cooling switch may be able to replace the original seat heater switch. Feel free to email us at sales@leatherseats.com to discuss your project!

so.... the "conversion" doesn't actually lower the temp of the air, it just blows room temp air up your arse, just like the salesman?

ronamer1 That is incorrect. the Peltier effect actually cools or heats the air passing through the junction inside of the thermoelectric device.

@@ronamer1 I apologize, you are correct we didn't mention the Peltier effect in the video. The Thermoelectric device (TED unit) mentioned throughout this video does utilize the Peltier effect though.
