We are now offering an all in one seat heating and cooling ventilation system for your seats. These thermoelectric devices (TED units) change the temperature of air being blown through the seats based off the electrical current feeding them. This gives you an efficient and powerful climate controlled seat that is based off of the best OEM systems out there. Included with every unit is a 5 pin 30A relay so that you can regulate the power only when the vehicle is on. We also include a switch hole cutting template that gives you a perfect outline for cutting the mounting holes for the switches.

My hat off to Luke at Leather Seats. He has been helping me adapt their controller to power the factory heated/cooled seats from a 2015 MKC that I'm installing into my 1966 Galaxie. The controller, wiring and switch are costing around $180 per seat. A way better option than trying to retain the factory DSM.

Eric, I’m really impressed with your products and your installation skills! I always thought that cooled seats were connected to the vehicles hvac system. How does this small unit make cool air, a heat pump? Thank you so much, Eric.

Just installed mine this last weekend, wish I had seen the video for the vent on the intake. I used mine down low for the exhaust. do you sell separate vent pieces? One more question, is it bad to use an add a circuit fuse jumper for power and run both leads together? Turned on one switch and it worked and hit the second, now neither one will turn on.

how well does this system work on non perforated upholstery. Looking to put this on my CJ7 but for obvious reasons there are no holes and no one makes an upholstery kit. Much cheaper than retrofitting AC

Joeys Cleaning Lady Unfortunately these units are not designed to work on non-perforated material. That being said you may experience some surface temperature effects however we have not tested this. Many local automotive upholstery shops have the ability to pattern your seats in their current condition. If you do find a shop that is able to do that we can sell you the high-flow backing foam to make it compatible for these units. Just a question, Is it possible to install those heater/cooler units on bucketseats (nonfixed or fixed) if yes is it hard or not (may let it a shop doing it who does alot of seats and panels) Im located in europe, getting things to you guys and back is to expensive probably (Seats i may install > www.braumracing.com/product/elite-r-series-racing-seats-red-leatherette-black-piping-pair/) [Also commented this on other installing video]

Michael Jordon It would depend on several things but mainly if there is room to mount the units on the seats and if the seat upholstery is correctly modified for air flow. Meaning that the upholstery includes perforation and has a reticulated, high-flow mesh foam backing instead of the more traditional scrim foam. slcea7 These units are universal and can be used on almost any seat out there. In order to work properly 1- the seat must have room to mount the units, 2- you must have access to ample power to plug into, and 3- the upholstery must have perforation as well as a high-flow foam backing in order to allow proper airflow. In most cases if the seats meet these requirements they should work fine however there may be exceptions out there. We do have the upholstery pattern to fit the Model 3 and can produce a leather kit with the high-flow foam backing in order to be compatible. Brian George The units themselves are universal as long as you have room to mount them properly, have proper power to run them, and seat upholstery that allows proper airflow. If your seat upholstery is cloth or doesn't have perforation, the results may be limited to surface temperature as apposed to full airflow. I really want cool seats in my Jeep…. I think they have failed wrangler users with this option. However it has heated seats already. How would you install this with an already installed unit

Gustavo Salgado These units were not designed to be used on non-perforated upholstery without a high flow mesh foam backing. However depending on your cloth setup you may be able to feel temperature differences with the units properly installed however you are not going to get very efficient airflow through the upholstery compared to perforated leather with reticulated foam backing. Most cloth upholstery has a much thinner foam backing than leather so there is a good chance that the temperature will transfer through to your body. We have not officially tested this so you might want show this video to a local automotive upholstery shop and get their opinion based on your seats specifically.
