I started of gaming in 2017 and have never messed with mods for any game. I built my pc, and pretty good with tech etc but it just always seemed like something too risky and not enough reward. Then someone joined our MC realm with mods and showed us screenshots of the things we had created and it was amazing… so now I’m here. Can’t wait to try this, it seems straightforward enough and u did a great job of explaining!

Whenever I try to launch a modpack I get a message that says "Error, The game has failed to launch. Unable to locate the Java runtime." However Minecraft 1.19.3 loads just fine.

I have this problem where if i download the modpack from curseforge it would not put in in the original mc launcher but some other junk one and when i try to uninstall it, its nowhere to be found on my pc. Any solutions ?

hey so i downloaded sodium and bsl shaders through the internet since sodium isn’t on curseforge anymore, and i later downloaded curseforge on my desktop. when i open minecraft through curseforge i have the mods in the mod pack, but there’s no way for me to use sodium or the shaders and when i open minecraft through the launcher i have sodium and the shaders but nothing from curseforge. i’ve tried to move the files but when i’m on curseforge it doesn’t show sodium or the mods and vice versa when i try through the launcher

for some reason it won't let me install minecraft because "an existing instance is running with elevated privileges" and when I click yes on the "restart existing instance with normal privileges" nothing happens

Hi! I plan on sharing the custom modpack that I created to my friends for our private server, but because I have some mods that are not from curseforge, I most likely won't get approved if I attempted to publish it. So I want to send them the modpack by other means. I see there's an export profile option under the 3 dots... Do I need to do anything to the modpack folder itself before it's able to be used on minecraft? And where do I put the modpack when I'm done with it, in the mod's folder, or do I just leave it as it is and add it to minecraft's installations? Thank you if you reply

i know this is more for java but with the bedrock mod i wanted to install a mod called true tools but every time i download it i get the notification telling me im missing something but yet i can’t see anything on the mod im missing did i mess something up?

How do i add my already owned minecraft account and data to the curseforge one? Edit: it doesnt recognise my already owned minecraft launcher and game and such, even if i go to the game trough files, it just says its an invalid directory or unsupported game

how do you choose which folder is mod folder for that specific version of MC. theres like 10 different folders for mods and i never know what one to put it in

Wanted to know if u could use nbt explorer with curse forge worlds. Ive edited the same world 10/20 times and cant get it to save? Playing minecolonies and lost my fave character in the most BS way and wont accept it. Soo Been trying to copy a back ups Id of them and place them in the folder they should be. Either way, the mod doesnt matter. After it didnt work i tried small things like making a 1, a 0 or a 0 a 1. Still no. What did i do wrong? and yes i pressed save.
