In order to adjust can it be done while the rear sets are mounted or you have to remove a portion and adjust? I have an 08 CBR600RR and they feel too far back. I cannot position myself properly because the pegs are in the middle of my foot instead of the ball. It’s a hard transition and really uncomfortable after a while. Or maybe I should replace them with vortex?
@sportbiketrackgear
@sportbiketrackgear 3 жыл бұрын
With some models you will need to remove the bracket from the frame to adjust the footpeg on a Woodcraft kit. Not a huge deal and only takes a minute. You can typically adjust the Vortex stuff without removing the bracket. - Van

I’ve question about the level of the footrest please, are they must be in the same level?, is there any problem if one of them is higher/lower than the other? Actually I don’t know if it’s gonna effect the body position on the bike, especially the legs/knees against the tank. please advise

I can tell that there is a set of race fairings on the bikes But my question is that, Can You use the Stock Headlights/Upper fairing With the Race fairings Lowers/Sides. The Longer lower fairings look alot better than stock but I'm going to be using it as a street based bike So I want to keep the stock head lights.

@@sportbiketrackgear well van whole you were doing your thing with parts I was using imagination today with my 09 big bang r1 ,, not rear sets but removal of rear pill pegs ,, however not alot on KZfaq about the relocation of the brake res as its bolted to the actual peg arm... and I dont like this kits that are on market so ,,, I cut the peg drimmel and sanded etc and I was very pleased as the res is in same place but without the long arms of the peg legs sticking out at you ...very happy with how it turned out and it was free. Next I shall be doing my rear sets ,, gillies... that shall give me something to do instead of using the big zzr1400 all the time .

Hey I got a question, by the way like your videos so far. Assuming you like the stock positioning of parts like these or your clutch/brake bars, what benefit do these offer?
@sportbiketrackgear
@sportbiketrackgear 6 жыл бұрын
The footpegs have more grip than the stock pegs do which is nice as I feel most of the stock footpegs are a little slick. Additionally the footpegs are fixed and do not fold up which can help reduce damage in a crash or tip over. - Brian Van

are you uploading the installation of race bodywork? i would like to see the fitment of the race fairing out of the box.
@sportbiketrackgear
@sportbiketrackgear 9 жыл бұрын
Alex Goh We uploaded the first one with Hotbodies Fairings. I actually worked with them to dial in the fit and keep the stock ecu mounting which I feel is pretty important on this bike. - Van

Sportbike Track Gear , thank u so much for uploading. Been waiting for this video. I seem like a pretty easy task if the fairing received are in the same exact condition as shown in the start of the video.i would not hesitate to get it, if the bodywork is already drilled and cut out for the ECU area. Could this be arranged? Will it fit with stock exhaust? Nees to buy the heat shield and foam pad separately?

Brian, will I be able to mount my SC Project CRT to these without using that exhaust bracket? I have the low-position version.

Sportbike Track Gear does the quick shifter work when you change to GP shift?
@MrMtaylor7210
@MrMtaylor7210 9 жыл бұрын
Ron L It always does the transmission is still shifted the exact same way you're just switching the pivot point on the lever.
@rlee350
@rlee350 9 жыл бұрын
matt taylor yes, but by changing the pivot you now reversed the way it engages push/pull. The sensor on the shift rod would lead me to believe that like any after market sensor it's one or the other.
@MrMtaylor7210
@MrMtaylor7210 9 жыл бұрын
The rod still goes the same direction regardless if it's gp shift or not. IE both pull the rod down to shift up.
