As someone who suffered from severe heat damage and had to cut off all of her long hair, I’m trying to use as little heat as possible so I only get a professional blowout once a year. In this video I share how my hair has been straight for MONTHS even while I’m working out with one simple product: THE GYM WRAP!
I have had this Gym Wrap since 2013 or 2014! I ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY LOVE IT!

Beautiful hair and video! I swear by the gym wrap as well! I never thought to wear it at night.. great suggestion! Just a little note- I don’t think it’s healthy to not wash your hair for 4 months. The sweat is damaging to your hair. I work out a lot and while the wrap helps, my hair is still a little damp. Take care!

Scalp needs to stay clean. I have to wash mine after every sweaty workout. Worst case scenario is a quick refresh and wash right after work. (Aka shampoo only on scalp, my length is coated with conditioner) Pros: hair is always fully moisturized Winter I can straighten my hair on the daily as it’s always being moisturized, deep conditioned, protein treated. Cons: summer means curl preservation and defining each curl takes a long time. 3bc hair that is high maintenance 🧑🔧

Not kitchen... I remember getting my hair pressed as a little girl n my mom saying she had to my kitchen giiiirl.. you are stiller than still in that moment 😂🤣

You only get your blow out once a year. In what season (fall/summer/winter/spring)would that blow out be done? What season was the four month period mentioned in the video?

Hi Enari! Excellent question 🙋🏽♀️ I typically get mine in the winter ❄️ because where I live the humidity is outrageous so it’s almost pointless getting a blowout in this heat and expecting it to last! So this blowout in this video lasted from December to April 🌸💕

@@naturalsistar282 Conair shower cap with bow 🎀🖤 and I threw away the brush 🥺 it’s just a generic brush that I’m sure you can find at any beauty supply store. I just got it because it was my favorite color 💘

Hi Abbie! 🤗💕 Yes, I still use the gym wrap, but only when my hair is straightened. Right now it’s in it’s curly state, so I don’t need it. The shower cap came from Walgreens 🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤
