As always an informative episode. If I may add a tip. I always clean my grates immediately after removing the food. Take advantage of that rest period and hot grill to do exactly what you demonstrated. Onion or foil and never wire. Just like my brother in law’s hair, those wire plugs will eventually come out!

Cleaning immediately after removing the food is definitely the optimal way to go. Do it while the meat is resting. Great point.

What is harder? Keeping the grates clean, or having the best qb in the nation and still losing? Lol. Jk

I'm going to give the lemon 🍋 juice r vinegar a try to help keep my weber grill grates clean... Can you mix both together to help with the cleaning power of the grates??

I have used one or the other with good results so I don’t know whether mixing them together would have an added benefit but I think it’s probably ok.
