Thank you for this series. One thing I especially value is the way you share how your brain does creativity. It is so fun to see that!

I learn so much from you when you make these type of videos. I learn about things to watch out for or think about, how to accept something that's not "perfect", how to keep the flow in check... Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful brain 🥰

I think you can fix the failed little bird with a tiny brush and some black acrylic paint. This could make a perfect little scene. I love how you discover cool effects by experimenting.

I’m so happy to have you teach me how to make a journal Luise! Seeing a genius creator as yourself putting your journal together, seeing your process frustrations and all, is a gift. I get frustrated too. We all do. I love the Magick of the embossing powder!!! What is this Magick? 😂 I have to get myself some of this Magick. Sooo pretty! Thank you my friend. ❤🕉🌹

You are brilliant. I discovered the rust and coffee last summer with experiment. I had coffee dyed paper and put stencils down to give impression. (when the paper is wet the stencil really sticks to the paper well) Then I found a can I had left outside to rust filled with water from melting snow and or rain. I splattered in on to my paper and the impression came out really cool. Very detailed. Thank you for sharing your process I learn from you all the time. I will be doing this today for a journal I am working on and need to put together some signatures, Thanks again

I’m only at 30 minutes in but I wanted to share that,,, if you were to paint the coffe water on your paper piece, set a stencil over it, put it out to dry, the drying will wick the color and moisture and you can get even more intense patterns from the stencils. Just an idea to try ,,,

When you were doing all the water and coffee and rust on the stencils, you also could’ve taken a third set of papers to get the impression from the stencils which were covered in the coffee and rust. That would mean you get three sets of papers with pattern of coffee and rust for one action of painting it with coffee and rust. You know what I mean?

How many papers in a signature? JK! 😂 I really like the bird stamp with the texture paste on it. Can you take a pic of it to copy b4 you clean it off? It’s cool. I wonder if not using a block behind your stamp and pressing it into the texture paste with your fingers would get the ink down in between the paste? Nice video…you ARE a scientist you know. So many experiments 😁

If my stencil is coloured from ink/coffee etc, I use a damp cloth or baby wipe to clean it while it’s sitting on top of the paper & that brings the colour & pattern down onto the paper & cleans the stencil at the same time.

Your stamps would be fine in the coffee and rust water. The iron is just iron oxide, iron combined with oxygen.

I’m watching in the middle of the video, but could you use a sponge to stamp with to absorb the rust/coffee and then use the stencil or stamp? Like a facial sponge or other small dense sponge. Or even a dauber? Love your videos!

Hi Luise! I love watching as many of your video's as I can. I am fairly new to junk journaling, and I have a question. When you embossed the butterfly in gold, could you go back over that with the same stamp in black to bring out the details? I don't have embossing powder and don't know all the properties and things, so thought I'd ask. Thanks!

"Does rust affect rubber? Corrosion on polymers, both plastics and rubber materials, is in many cases similar to metals but in other cases it looks very different. Corrosion attacks on polymers are often hard to discover, the material may look normal but can in fact be embrittled and have lost it´s mechanical strength."
