@@angeliquediaz4445 Ants will swarm it then leave on their own. Try and hide them the ants will find the bait. Leave out a few weeks.

I used the terro liquid pouches with the tear off tab and set it on the ground near the ants path and the ants get all over them ive had the ants drinking it up in 4 different spots at one time ive been setting them up all over the house for about 6 months straight i always have them sitting around and there is always ants eating and drinking them but unfortunately 6 months later the ants are still in full effect so now im looking into other options because they just keep coming

Supposedly I heard that killing an ant releases a odor or something from their corpse which signals to other ants nearby.

Even though that's true most probably the ants will get drunk and they don't release the oder or they do release it but the other ants are so drunk they don't respond to it

It’s true. Most ant species have pheromones in their blood, so they can sense when a fellow ant has been crushed nearby. That’s why crushing an ant sometimes sends the others into a frenzy.

Yes they release pheromones to attract others so if you kill them clean the area with cleaner or vinegar solution to break it down.

The best choice you ever made, if they somehow moved in they would be too comfortable to move out and would rather live rentless in your house + take over your kitchen. Not the best experience in my life...

I have a lot of ants coming into my bathroom and they are like dying on there own on the ground in the same spot. I vacuum them up and then somehow there like 50 more dead ants on the floor a hour later

One night I saw a trial of ants in my kitchen (dropped some food while cooking and didn’t notice) and it was so late and I was so tired I said whatever I’ll deal with it in the morning. I woke up expecting a 1 v 1 million and they all had vanished! I had a major epiphany then that the ants don’t come or stay if they have no reason. I sealed up some areas I thought they were coming from based on the prior trail and haven’t seen them since.

Yep this is the only way to kill ants. I used to get them every year at an apartment I rented and the landlord would not help me. I used the Torro bait packs and the ants were gone the next day.

Did they stay gone ? I put the advion gel down and the next day at like 2pm they were all gone out of my pantry but I noticed a single ant on my kitchen counter so I’m not sure if the whole family/colony is dead yet. I live in an upstairs apartment unit. And it’s been hell with the ants . I’ve caulked 7 different entrances and I’ve only been here 6 months

@@JoseLopez-vp8vu clean houses help sure but the problem is that even in 100% clean house, human beings require food and the ants will still invade to try and get into cereal boxes, chip bags, mason jars of sugar/honey, and other food. doesnt matter how you have it sealed so clean as your house is, unless you fancy an empty pantry, you've still got a reason for ants to come inside.... so your logic is flawed or from a perspective of someone who only eats out and only uses their fridge and pantry for storing water bottles and condiments lol
