I think the reason the "store" brands dial down the concentrations is to keep some homeowners from over-applying product and doing damage. For most, that would never be an issue, but they do sell to everyone. Really enjoying the drone shots. I keep saying I'm going to get one...just because.

That might be it. If you look at the ingredients they are identical and mixed differently to cover a multiple of weeds. The problem with Quinclorac and Sulfentrazone is they work together and multiply the efficacy of the Quinclorac so they back it off. Think of Sulfentrazone as Octane booster that also kills other hard to kill weeds at the same time.

I’m very new to lawn care and all the measurements are a bit baffling. When you say ounces per square feet, does that mean per gallon? Thanks for answering a most basic question!

Ounces/ 1000 sq/ft. This is the application rate. Gallons use is a guideline. Some products require more water than others. The app rate is what matters most not the amount of water it is mixed with
