That coffee machine is OP as fuck and criminally under-used. You could basically request anything with "Liquid that can make XYZ". How about "Liquid that will make all SCP's a non-threat to humanity when drank by anyone."

Why dont you just give it a shared containment cell with the immortal little girl? They both enjoy each other's company and make each other happy. You could even give it a better room that the little girl would enjoy, as it seems 682 likes it when the little girl is happy, based off him letting her color on him and even ride him.

@@avacadotoast5571 okay, going by that logic, what is the point of trying to kill 682? What if he adapts in a way that allows him to become more dangerous? What if he figures out how to use his adaptations permanently? There will always be risk. But with risk there is sometimes reward. I'm not saying what you're saying is wrong, and I promise I'm not trying to come off as rude, your assessment is probably pretty accurate, but thats not the best logic to go by.

I don't think the Lizard actually likes the girl she kills people (by accident) from making them mad and try killing her so I'm guessing SCP-682 is adapting to the little girl by liking her so it wouldn't harm/kill him

Here's an idea... Instead of killing it, why doesn't the SCP foundation attempt to erase 682's memories and make the creature not try to kill humans? It's not a kill attempt so wouldn't that make it so the creature wouldn't have anything to adapt to since it only adapts to physical damage?

It's not a bad suggestion, but the issue would be finding a viable method. I think memetic SCP's have been shown to have no effect on it. The amnesia-inducing SCP-939 didn't seem to have an effect, and one can reasonably assume that no chemical amnesiac would work, given its resistance to poisons. And even if not, the amnestics the Foundation uses only affects short term memory.

Instead of killing it, the foundation should look for a way to change its personality, if a reality bender like 239 would make 682 friendly towards humans, the Foundation could potentially use 682 to fight other SCP's like 076-2. Or just build joined containment chamber for 682 and 053, 682 becomes docile and 053 has a friend to play with.

We have tried changing his personality. SCP682 doesn't view humanity very highly and wants to extinguish all of humanity,probably to kill the being hiding in the Collective unconsciousness from scp-500 'why?'

What if you just blast if off into space? A rocket breaks off into multiple pieces just make the last rocket not have any rockets or control its self. Even if it's able to break out and leave the rocket the chances of it being able to make it back to earth would be astronomically low. So it'd pretty much be stuck floating through space forever.

You can always travel back in time, all the way to the origins of SCP-682, so you can discover how the reptile became so hyper-adaptive and hyper-regenerative in the first place, then use a specific method to prevent the thing from becoming “hard to kill”, and everything should be fine again.

This was tried many years in the future. The resulting adaptation is why the knife that erases you from the timeline was itself erased.

but this creates a paradox, as if they travel back in time to make him easy to kill, they wouldn't have a reason to travel back in time in the future, preventing them from ever making him easy to kill. No matter how you go about it, it'd make a paradox

Canonically, the doom slayer could kill it. In the doom lore, it states that the slayers power is equal to his will, basically meaning that if he wants to kill something, it dies. The doom slayer has infinite power, as long as he wants the beast to die, he can kill it.

(Prime evils are sorta like the descendents of "the father", the actual god of the doom universe). It actually isn't clear whether the doom slayer could kill the father or not, considering 1. His power comes from the father's blood, and 2. He really doesn't have a reason to, considering the father isn't evil and trying to kill off humanity.

Grind the SCP into microscopic particles and freeze them, so it becomes significantly small, small enough to fit inside SCP 914, the clockworks, subsequently running the setting on "very fine". The result may vary, but if it were the same, you could always split the microscopic particles into different dimensions, such as the red sea object, and break the portal so they cannot form back together. Last option is to organise as many SCPs as possible that WILL fight against it, such as SCP 173 and will not cause SCP 682 to develop any adaptations towards them.

simple. ask 343 for a container nothing that exists or ever had existed can get out of, a system that reverts as you get out of it over and over again. the reptile is trapped. the other option would be to whimsically ask 343 for a set of Dragonballs. you could then use those Dragonballs to make it so that 682 cannot gain momentum... meaning he can move

ok so it doesn't kill it but 343 can contain the reptile forever or at least nothing says he can't. as long as 682 isn't transported to another dimension which he just escaped from before the prison should hold him. there's nothing saying he can counter something not being directly done to him, right? or am I wrong you gotta tell me man! ya gotta!

11:43 The millisecond I heard you say, "It always manages to come back, even from the smallest specks of matter," it dawned on me on how to kill SCP-682, with no conceivable way for SCP-682 to escape death. First, you would load SCP-682 onto SCP-052. You would repeat step one until he is sent back in time. Then, you would take SCP-682 and his past self and load them onto a rocket together. Then you would send the rocket on a direct course for a black hole. The course would need to be direct so once the rocket runs out of fuel, inertia should be enough to take it the rest of the way to the black hole since there is no friction in space. If an atom comes into contact with it's past self, both atoms are completely destroyed, as in removed from existence. So, once SCP-682 and it's past self are in the black hole, they will be compacted to a space so small that it would be inevitable that all of SCP-682's atoms will come into contact with their past selves. The chamber in which SCP-682 and his past self should be loaded in should be made of the same material as SCP-682's containment cell back on Earth, so that way he won't be able to break the rocket.

I think the best example of just how hard this thing is to destroy comes from when they tried to use SCP-826, a pair of bookends that creates a portal into whatever story you put between them. One of the doctors wrote a book about a creature who's only defining trait was that it was able to permanently destroy 682, and would immediately do so if it ever got the chance. They put it in the bookends, and lured the lizard in with a D-class on a motorcycle. The end result was the book being completely rewritten to be about a creature that tried and failed to destroy SCP-682.

This video actually gave me the idea the use both the blender idea with the scp 682 killing formula from the vending machine and it may just work having an scp 682 paste while adding the tissue destroying formula may be able to destroy him before he can regenerate if done correctly

I'm WAY late to the Party but I've been Binging your videos of late how about. GIVING SCP-682 TO SCP-1915 THE STARS DON'T WAIT FOR YOU. It destroyed its Earth and is a complete Abstract Being even The Deer and Dr Wondertainment working together couldn't stop it so I'm presuming it destroyed 682 there as well so our 682 maybe made to realise 1915 is better at eradicating all life then he is and just Cease to be. Respect and keep up the epic work.

I have an idea to destroy it. Use the nerfing gun while it has been ripped to shreds by SCP 001 The Guardian; if it "buffs" the small variant, have The Guardian strike it again, only this time dont use the nerfing gun, but the SCP 682 destroying substance produced by the vending machine, and throw it on the remains, and if that doesnt work, try a hypothetical scenario with "When Day Breaks" except you make a warning to everyone to go underground, and leave SCP 682 to roam outside while the sun melts it. This should work since it negates its anamolous abilities, meaning it cant regenerate or remanifest. Also at the same time, a group of D-Class Personel can go out during the night time and JUST as the sun rises, if they find SCP 682, use the Nerfing Gun so that once the cycle ends, it cant be unerfed due to "When Day Breaks'" effect of canceling anamolous properties. It may take a sacrafice or couple hundred, but this could work.

The foundation has so many incredible cheat tools, they just need to use them right. Back to SCP 294, just type in "liquid that removes SCP-682's regenerative and adaptive abilities for good when touching any part of its body". Since it can assumably produce omnipotent liquids this shouldn't be too much of a problem either. After that it's just a big crocodile-looking thing

So I don't know if this will be viewed by the scp explained crew but I had a crazy and wild idea that might actually work and I think the foundation should investigate, throwing 682 into the planet neptune or a similar fridged planet, not only would it be instantly frozen solid but being as the winds are constantly whipping at 1600mph and the planet is covered on ice and shards that are constantly ripping through everything. I think the combination of extreme gravity, extremely high wind speeds, exceedingly low temperatures and the constantly eviserating ice shards being thrown around by the winds, if it's not eliminated by this, it may more effectively contain it off of earth and without much cost, other than the initial effort to get it there, which may be drastically less than repair costs because of it. I think it warrants investigation.

I agree with "Ace Godwin" 's suggestion (6:28) TO A POINT. Monitor 682. Restrain 682. Prevent 682 from causing harm, but STOP HARMING 682. It may have been genocidal before it was captured, but subjecting it to pain and torment isn't going to improve its disposition. I've said this before: I'd even go so far as to go back in time to when 682 was first captured, bringing with me all the records of everything that had been done to 682 as well as everything it had done, in an attempt to get the foundation to MORE HUMANELY contain 682. Treat it as a threat, but don't let its hate contaminate you.

The number of Interstellar SCPs that are out there in the universe. That is the worse idea ever. Sure they may not be able to kill 682 but they could take control and send him back. I'm probably the only person who's even thought of this since not only are they in two different fandoms, but this channel might have not even heard of him. Error Sans. An indestructible universe destroyer vs the hard to destroy reptile, I'd honestly love to see how that would turn out. Edit: Actually, a better idea, if SCP-682 was to be unleashed in their multiverse, there's a chance that Error and Ink would both team up, which has happened before but is very rare, and then with their abilities combined, might actually end up killing 682 once and for all.

One-way ticket to interstellar space should do the trick. A solar sailor type spaceship that has no other method of propelling itself so it can't be tampered with from within. No need to kill what is moving away from us at relativistic speed.

Notice this comment if you haven't already, and observe the necessary step's: 1. Shoot 682 with a bullet composed of SCP-2953. 2. Allow SCP-173 to rip 682 to 100% shreds (After taking out 682's many eyes of course [just in case]). 3. Move Each and Every scrap of 682's remains (not forgetting any blood) into separate chambers. 4. Place each piece of scrap into a vat of the "SCP-682 killer" from 294. 5. Place the substance in one giant vat made of either SCP-148 (telekill alloy), or glass reinforced by SCP-914. In the event that possible remains of 682 are still present, it's safer to have it grouped all together than to risk property getting torn up as all the pieces find each other. 6. Have Dr. Alto Clef, SCPs 999, 053, and 166 visit the containment chamber on weekly or monthly bases. Note that they do Not All have to be in the room at the same time, but it would certainly help. 7. In the event 682 shows Any signs of reforming, use the Scranton-Lang Reality Anchor to access SCP-3001, as it would appear that simply activating it is enough to access said dimension (as evident from the 2005 incident). Transport the vat into 3001, and Immediately seal the gateway. MTF Tau-5 should be placed on standby for any reports matching 682's description around the world. Can't be too safe with this creature. Note: It's worth noting that this a Very Much Extended version of my Previous proposal from the last video on this topic. It's certainly worth trying. Alright! Next up: 096.

Ok, crazy idea: give everyone in the foundation amnestics and change the definition of SCP-2950 to “an invulnerable immortal humanoid that is nice and loves everyone except 682, that can nullify it’s adaptive capabilities and kill it with no hope of the lizard coming back ever, no exceptions possible.” Then bring them together, kill 682, erase everyone’s memory, and return 2950 to being a chair. Would need a lot of resources and time but might work.

If he is imune to even "non-existence" of that spot in Russia, then it's truly impossible to kill it, if it can just force itself to exist again. One idea would be to trap it into a time loop, like that Justice League Unlimited episode. But instead of a whole day, a single second. Lock him into a state in which it can't even move because it perpetually goes back one second in time.

For instance, we have a certain concept of death, but this doesn't appl to 682 Similarly, just because we think something is erased from existence, doesn't mean it technically is. It could exist in other ways we can't precieve, but we think it's erased

The issue with being 'erased' from existence is that scp 682 is 'above' the concept of being erased. It was shown in another scp crosstest that SCP 173 'The statue' was at one point the cause of SCP682's species going nearly extinct, so the key to defeating 682 is looking into 173's past. The problem is that so far only one Statue exists that we can use to kill 682. We believe in an alternate timeline there were multiple statues which hunted in packs to eradicate 682's species.

could always drop it in the hole to another place. Or construct a super advanced chamber perhaps using scp's useful to do as such to make the chamber capable of rapid fire atmospheric changes in random order to overwhelms 682's adaptability. By constantly changing it's environment to equally lethal levels of different affects- 682 won't be able to find a suitable adaptation to the onslaught of hazards. Its native habitat is oxygen free possibly even airless? Flood the room with pure o2. then into pure co2. then vacuum. Flood it with nitrogen rich water, turn it into argon and mercury rich milk, then make it so 682 is frozen in it; then simulate the suns temperature. Hopefully you see what im getting at. Quick violent polar opposite extremes that the adaptation would be illequipped for, and every time it adapts to its new threat its hit with the polar opposite and forced to adapt again and again until it gets tired. then you could drop it into a hole to another place.

The thing with 2935 is the mechanism of how it works is entirely unknown. The act of merely reopening the path to that universe might allow it into ours if it's a being, which is as you know the theory that exist today. It crosses over it's an automatic end of world scenario. It isn't even known if the backups to restart the world could survive.

While this wouldn't kill 682, this could possibly neutralize it (At some level) Using "Q" (from BSD) If we use his ability "Dougra Magura" (a mind control curse) we could possibly neutralize him (Or we have another instance of the "053" situation since the "abilities\anomalous" affects of 053 and Q are remotely similar on how to trigger it) Since Q's ability (if he's harmed and the doll is /technically\ destroyed the ability activates causing the being that harmed Q intentionally or on accident to have the mind control curse implaced upon them)

While immensily difficult, there is a method no one has tried before: Firstly we need to destroy this reality, and than make a new one, 682 would be confused because everything just did not exist for a moment, so we throw 20 million pancakes at it, while we do that, start re making what destroyed reality last time and throw 7 tv's at 682. Destroy reality again and remake it again, no matter the costs, than give 682 any plushie and a mostly immortal child for it to be distracted, for the after that give 682 a shirt and destroy reality again, repeat the process untill you reach the 12th reality, than give 682 a cup with poison and it will start dancing, after 34.6 seconds into the dance, give it a book and than it will die. No one can prove this will not work.

He's hyper intelligent, able to take forms of matter we don't understand. He'd probably sense he's in a loop (after a while) and find a way to break out. Suggestion: 1. 682 need to get throught 914 to turn into an object and then that object need to be taked to 017 to destroy it. 2. 682 must be locked in a very resistant chamber with Nikolas Tesla's invention known as SCP 2700 and scp 2700 need to break it for killing the 682. Or transfer the acceleration cellular power to an machine laser like that and then with that laser can be tried to kill 682. And if 682 like 05-13 have a deal with dead and can't be killed?

cold iron, you have to stop it from regenerating with cold iron weapons. Its adaptation ability is only dangerous because it can regenerate no matter how much of it you destroy, it is therefore imperative to permanently stop it from regenerating when injured, hence, you need cold iron. Go ask the Tuatha de for some. On another note, have they tried impaling it to death with tungsten and encasing it in molten iron which they allow to cool off? It may not keep it dead permanently as the whole thing will eventually break down but I suspect it could contain it for over a millennium with no breaches. i should also point out, killing it, while difficult, has been done many times, the issue is keeping it dead.

Just let him stay with scp - 053 It's similar to the 999 strategy, but unlike that scenario, 682 only started murdering after they were separated In theory if they're just kept in the same containment unit, 682 should remain in his puppy-like state (provided nobody disturbs them of course)

I believe this video also got it wrong with the 999 scenario. IIRC, on actual test log 682 only adapted that ability once 999 was removed, but while they were together, he was pacified and expressing different personality traits.

Three options One, send him to the GOC. Guaranteed way of solving one of the two problems at least, either the GOC manages to dispose of 682 or 682 wipes them out. Two, ask Miss J. Can't remember the SCP number, but the digital teacher that trained Zena Cho (I feel I got that name wrong). Maybe she can teach someone how to kill 682. Or 3, find a way to get a serious answer from 682 itself. Maybe there's an SCP that can read minds or force the truth out of something, I'm not familiar with all of them. If so, just ask 682 how one might destroy or at least neutralize it. Maybe he'll have an answer to make him less of a threat in the least.

I'm pretty sure they tried to make a scp that can read mind (don't remember which, but he survived a car crash and got that ability) and he refused to do so, saying that he couldn't read it.

they tried that already. They also tried to have Dr Bright take it over using SCP 963...Didn't go over so well. Apparently the thing is a malicious, nigh-indestructible force of nature even in the mindscape.

Im thinking use the soul extractor on scp 682 as we know after extracting the soul the only thing that is possible to do is eat no walking running or surprise surprise adapting after extracting the soul use a weapon or a scp to finish him off.

Maybe if they used the reluctant dimmension hopper in an extremely specific scenario where its about to jump to transport it there if thhey could incapacitate it. Maybe using Dr. Bright

get him into a game of Among Us, where he is impostor and play with him, when he kills one of the researchers in the game, the other researcher playing would go into the meeting and say 'it's 682, my friend told me' and 682 would get so mad it would kill itself

Don’t kill him. Build a special containment chamber, made out of the steel put into SCP 914 and set on very fine. Since his body contains lots of minerals and elements like iron, zinc and more and 682 has incredible regenerative abilities, you could always chop pieces of his body of and extract the elements in his body. Using this method, mankind will have an infinite supply of water (in his blood), iron, zinc, carbon, phosphorus and more! Ps: People who can ride SCP 682 are the ultimate Floridamen.

Right before the dressrosa arc, there’s a guy who can control people with his devil fruit by putting a collar on them and they can’t stop it. They can only listen to the person who put the collar on them then you wouldn’t have to worry about him

Suggestion: maybe it's hard to kill state is not due to his body but his soul (if it has one) maybe his body reforms around his soul explaining why it can reform from being atomized. So ask God to destroy it's soul.

I have an idea, but it's sadly more of a containment than that of killing (sorry everyone). How about trying to replicate the XK-class event "when day breaks" in a cell where it makes him think he's free and killing people, when he is actually standing still trying not to melt trying to break free from two effects (will need help from 343)

Multiple problems. If "when day breaks" happened, everyone would be dead anyway, and we need it to happen to replicate it. Second, it's an SCP-001, meaning there's a possibility it doesn't actually exist. Lastly, that'd involve making a mini-sun that somehow turns evil.

Use SCP-2000 to make expendable clones for him to kill. Thus keeping him constantly occupied. Maybe he just tries to escape because he is bored sitting in the acid pool all day.
