Great work for such a challenging lighting scene - what do you prefer - the Evoke or Dyno1200?

Thankyou. Evoke works better for my workflow because it's lighter and easier to transport. Dyno requires 2 people to use.

2:05 that's not true, there are plenty of tv shows and movies that have clipped highlights. like the post credit from shazam kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aLGFoNd6tc7LlKc.html there's no detail in the sky. But it still looks cinematic

You are correct. 99.9% of shots will not clip highlights.

That's not clipped, that's just overcast/bright, there's no detail to show in the sky.. I wouldn't say there are plenty of tv shows and movies that have clipped highlights, it would be quite rare, I couldn't think of one 🤔

@@martinc12 that’s most definitely clipped, there’s no detail at all in the sky. And I have seen plenty of shows and movies that are clipped and noisey. The show hawkeye have some noise in it in certain scenes. And like the show power, on HBO. I have seen scenes that are clipped. What it tells me is even if a shot is clipped or noisey doesn’t mean it can’t look cinematic or professional

@@AnimeZone247 It isn't clipped, There is no detail in the sky. If you've shot an interior on an overcast day, that's what it looks like. The added haze in the wide shot makes the highlights bloom but there's no detail loss. Bad compression will exaggerate the effect but clipping is rare on professional shoots. I haven't seen Hawkeye but noise is a different matter unrelated to clipped highlights. I agree you will see noise but not clipped highlights. I won't say it doesn't happen, but it's rare
