@@juststee Be good to yourself. When you hear everything too loud step away to anywhere quiet so you can just BE. A park, a room, a yard. It takes practice for it to begin to be your normal way of being in this 🌎 world. Start with hand washing presence and walking perhaps. Again be good to yourself. Kindness to yourself is just as important mentally and emotionally as presence.

Maybe just stop wanting something. Stop wanting change. Stop wanting awakening. Stop trying to manifest. Just leave everything and stop focusing all your attention on yourself. You'll realise you're actually fine and don't need fixing. Focus on following your intuition when it comes up and just do things that are fun or you're interested in.

Who is telling the story in the mind? And why? This is the root problem. Thoughts are the means for That something to create the vibration that wants to experience. The root cause is Desire (lust), identification and attachment. Any single thought arises because of desiring something, attachment and identification to something. First desire was to eat the fruit of the forbidden tree in Eden. That is the root cause of egoic self and identification with the body first and then with everything else and material reality. And what was the forbidden fruit? Sex pleasure just for pleasure. Om Peace 🌺🌞🙏

Many are saying this should be taught in school... but parents are their child's first teacher. Parents should teach their children and send well adjusted children to school. Parents must take responsibility for their children and not pass it off to society. Teachers can reinforce positive teachings... But teachers have to be careful, otherwise, the teacher may be accused of indoctrinating the child. There are various resources teachers use to help children cultivate mindfulness, kindness, empathy, etc. If you know of a good program on mindfulness for elementary school children, please share.

I think I developed my inner commentary when I was a child and experienced a trauma I was unable to escape. I had no choice but to live with it. I was too young to leave home. Inner commentary became my mode of coping. Unfortunately, it became my go to mode in my adult life too and left me with a feeling of being trapped or stuck any time I encountered difficulty. My greatest challenge in life is overcoming my inner commentary.

This is so true - we must teach our children how to mind the mind and come into presence and try and step out of the collective consciousness which is to a great degree unconscious and mob-like. You can step out of that collective and individual ego consciousness - yoga helps ...Inner commentary (developed and grown by ideological societal teachings) v actual circumstances - the isness - the presence of the present moment. This is pure non dual and without judgment. We can act from that when we can access it consistently - Sadhana and daily practice really helps so that you have a presence and can cultivate neutral mind when the need arises - and it will!

That's a good point to teach your children how to live, but what I want to say is that you cannot make their life easier, I mean so-called life teaches them and also by a lot of their mistakes they evolve, I understood that what you learn from others (be it your parents, friends, guru, etc) is just knowledge unless you try it yourself and you may call it wisdom or whatever. I started listening to Eckhart years ago, wow I thought I had found answers to 99% of my problems. I read all the books, practiced and thought I found peace. This is new age enlightenment. I warn against it and later found Jesus Christ our savior who died on the cross for ME, my sins, that anxiety, that depression, those chains from the past holding you back and healing. He died for you. There is another way. Peace I have now is not from me, it’s from God. It can’t be shaken because of a firm foundation of building my life on Him. I put my faith in Jesus, not my own ways and thoughts. ❤

Eckhart,s look resembles christ infinite goodness.. even before talking he sends eternal love and compassion.. I believe a miracle can start any day cause this good man can make all us jump into unity and grace and heaven on earth.. love and peace must reign over suffering, he is an angel of god, I started praying for that miracle to succeed, join me...

As this learning is quite complex, please comment if any of this rings true: Things happen. I have thoughts about them. These thoughts are events on the same level as the things that happen. Instead of reacting with emotions to these thoughts, I can view the thoughts as external events on the same level as the things that happen, and have an active relationship to this observation. Then the thoughts do not trigger negative emotions, because there is no longer a need for a reaction. The emotions will then follow the internal observation and always have a relaxed, somewhat detached, smiling, even loving view on both thoughts and things that happen. This internal observation is always now. This internal observation is me. It is actually me, I am active. I am this internal observation.

🙏🏻education.........😞! "How to learn to live, not the useless stuff they learn at school". I've been feeling unheard about this all my life, but in the past, sadly, I was only able to be present enough to be aware and do my best with my children to counterbalance; but it has been hard work, especially when one has to watch how they are drawn into this condiontioning, and mum's view being so 'embarrassingly different to everybody else's. Sadly, I wasn't present enough to see potential or calling to get involved in a change on a bigger scale. Something is happening now and I wonder where it takes me...

It's hard to imagine that people have strayed so far from knowing how to live. It's unbelievable.
