Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this topic. I’m in my 50’s and at one point I found myself not caring and giving up my style do to age. Boy was I wrong and changed back to my style. Ladies don’t give up your beautiful style at any age. I learn so much from you and your dog is adorable 😃

I typically wear dresses that are comfortable and presentable. I feel pretty and I can do anything pretty much in them. I clean and cook and go for walks and play with my children. I always do something with my hair and makeup, even if it’s simple. When someone pops in they are sometimes surprised but I feel better and get more done.

Yay! I’m so glad you made a video on this topic! I have always wondered what to wear at home. Ive always saves my “good clothes” for special occasions. That means they would never get worn! I am now going to find myself some loungewear. My favorite product would have to be the Coconut Water Body Butter from Brandless. It is the most DELICIOUS smell I’ve ever found in a lotion! Cashmere sweaters, cashmere leggings, wide legged trousers, medi skirts, wrap dresses, button down shirts and loafers (that are specifically for home) stud earrings, I got lucky in the skin department so I skip the makeup when home except for lipstick. And PERFUME !!!!!!! This was really difficult to do with kids/work/school... it really helped to regain confidence after having my little ones 😕 I took inspiration from my husbands mother (she was French) extremely feminine. I have a separate closet now solely dedicated to “house clothing” made of neutral colors so it’s easily styled and purchased some inexpensive but well made loafers/ballerinas also in neutral colors, even a separate jewelry box for home Jewelry lol 🤦🏽‍♀️

You shouldn't wear makeup at home at all. Let your skin rest and wear makeup when you're gonna leave your home. Even experts have told us that makeup might protect your skin, but fact is that people who wear less makeup stay longer young looking and their skin looks better. I only wear lip balm and skin care products at home.

Great video! It's funny you basically described me completely right now...husband's old sweatshirt, sweat pants, haha. But I definitely feel more feminine and put together when I put effort into my appearance even when I'm just staying home.

👏Great video, as usual.💖 It seems to me that you and I could have been good friends since I've always done all the things you mentioned here. I never took the time to think if that's classy or not. I just do things that represent me. ☺ I grew up with my mom always having a job and always keeping the house clean and herself soooo put together (nails done, hairdos, classy clothes... My father couldn't stand so much perfection, so we had to let him go... 😂, but that's another story). Growing up I've always bought classy clothes. I may not wear my typical makeup when at home, but I love a bold, red 💄 (it just puts me in a good mood), and a good perfume (always after taking a shower). My daughter, a teenager, says that I always look good and smell good. I've never bothered to care about what my husband thinks of all this, since it's great to do things together, but I think it's also great to constantly make things that are great just for ourselves. 😉 If dressing nicely, smelling fresh and clean or wearing jewelry ( which I love) at home is what makes us feel a bit happier, than we should never stop.
