Mine was unbalanced one was all the way in and the other out. I fixed them and got an alignment. It’s riding a lot better now.

For the back you can use passive shocks with relocated shackles no need for special shocks unless you slam it.

I would imagine that having the bolts half way backed out would weaken them and they are likely to either break or come out. All of the weight of the vehicle is on those bolts and those bolts are hanging by a thread.

And now if you drive down a bumpy road your front end will bounce believe me old school mini trucker who did this to static drop my mini
