I switched from the replay to the shutter trainer and switching from a plastic yoyo to a metal yoyo is life changing. The shutter pro rrainer pack is well worth it!

Been playing kendama for a while and decided to mix it up by getting into yoyo. Speedcubing is another hobby of mine as well, so I am all too familiar with how important maintenance is to keep things smooth and fresh, so I'm actually just watching this video so I know how to go about maintaining my shutter which is in the mail due to arrive in a couple days. Can't wait!

@@Gentrystein I need help with how to get YoYo response pads that don't make my yoyo responsive. I have a problem where my unresponsive yo-yo is responding to binds a little too well so it is becoming responsive. I lubed the bearing and it didn't seem to work. Please help

i still love your care with these videos and explanations. I practiced for about 2 years my freshman year of high school (1998) and got pretty good. However, the only information was on VHS and they sucked balls. So thanks.

Important point to mention is that mineral spirits or acetone or whatever, they are all solvents which dissolve oils. So if you over-oil your bearing, toss it right back in your little shot glass of acetone and it's like hitting reset.

for some reason Acetone leaves some white coating on my bearings, however IPA does not remove old oil as well, so I do two washes, acteone first and then IPA. IPA removes that coating without a problem.

Is it okay if i prefer my string to be shorter than my height cause when i first got my yoyo it was shorter and now i am used to it so now that i tried the longer one it is hitting the ground
