Very cool to see the art coming together with those transforms. It's harder than it looks! Somewhere out there is an old Street Fighter dev video where they show the pre-transform views for their pseudo-3D backgrounds. When you try to get away from basic shapes, things get pretty crazy.

Nice Work! Like the workflow you were able to come up with for 2.5D. Affinity designer actually came out with a toolset to do something just like your actions.

Now I’m also trying to make 2.5D game. I’m an architect and in my profession I always used rhino 3D with illustrator to make models and then colour them as 2D schemes in illustrator. That’s a good combination, pay your attention

The game looks really good! Though I'm wondering is there any reason to have tons of jump pads? Ex: 1st devlog showed meat bouncing around, the big issue with automation I'm seeing is trying to encourage people to use the automation, because some people may just do basic things to accomplish the same task and not use the full weight of automation. Bonuses for Xp items idk. Idk how to explain what I'm trying to say but Imagine looking at the game as a player with 1000's of hours and one who has never played a game before, and try to ensure they both have the same experience while rewarding the 1000h player with the skills and knowledge they have learnt. Anyways excited to see and play this game!

Great question. The balance of the game forces users to Automate. By the mid game, it is literally impossible to achieve your goals without the automation. Hopefully we'll get the balancing perfect, but only time will tell :) I hope it'll be more clear in future vlogs

This is not 2.5D, it is merely isometric. 2.5D is not when you make 2D look 3D. 2.5D is when you make 3D look 2D.

Let me be honest here. Im super interested in your game, but please, PLEASE dont continue with the lame jokes and meme. Youre trying too hard to seem funny.
