In this video we will show you how to make a bike fork better.
I will use RockShox Recon bike fork.
What to do if your fork is not plush.
This is the working method I use in the bike shop.
"DIY for cyclists. tutorial in the style of "ASMR".

There is a variant of the Rock Shox Judy Silver TK - Remote fork.. If the name of the fork contains the word "Remote", then there will be a remote lockout

I have the same fork but different lockout remote. When it's locked my fork has almost 40% of it's travel, yes it is hard to compress it but it compresses. When it's unlocked it goes 90% of it's travel and it is softer. Is something wrong with my fork? BTW Why you rotated center screw on 5:40 ?

You need to inflate the fork for your weight. If it still sags, it means that the air tightness has been lost and you need to replace the rubber bands in the air chamber. When the fork is locked, it will still sag a little, but not so much. At 5:40, the screw itself was not loosened, just the cap was turned in a certain way to tighten and then fix the cable

귀하의 의견에 감사드립니다. 일반적으로 이러한 예비 부품은 별도로 판매되지 않습니다. 캡을 교체하는 것만으로는 충분하지 않으며 원격 레버가있는 잠금 장치의 경우 전체 코어를 변경해야하며 특정 포크 모델에 대해서도 찾아야합니다.

기존 리모트가 없다면 댐퍼도 다 바꿔줘야 하나요 그냥 리모트 케이블하고 락아웃사서 설치하면 안되나요?

It's not possible, by just replacing the cap. This is because the damper has a return spring/tensioner inside. This is what enables the lockout lever to return. So without the remote lever, the damper will be permanently locked out. A top cap switch wouldn't function that way, it doesn't work under spring tension but rather from resistance by friction, from underneath the cap. Such as a simple o-ring or a leaf spring. If you were able to remove the spring from inside the damper and find the right cap for your fork model that would be possible. (From year to year specs and sizes change etc.) So the only practical and arguably cheaper way is to get a new damper that is not for a remote lockout. This will of course come with the top cap lever included. NB, If you have an old model it may not be easy to find one that will fit.

I actually have the same fork but with a different lockout remote on the bar. But my problem is that recently the lockout thingy on the fork blew out like the top is just hanging off the cabel connected to the remote. Can I change it without changing the fork?

You may simply have a loose cable or misconfigured settings. If the damage is serious, you can find a separate lockout for your fork and replace it only.
