I made this cake last night and words cannot express how delicious it is. Super moist and perfect texture. Two of my favorites: pound cake and coconut flavor....Heaven. I always either mix the batter too much or not enough that would result in the cake either sinking, being too dry or having oily streaks in the crumb but this one was perfect. You are the only KZfaqr who gives specific mixing speed and length of mixing time. This helped sooo much for someone like me who is not a baker. Thank you for this recipe and detailed instructions ❤️

Hey Charlie! I was looking for a coconut pound cake recipe and came across your video yesterday. I made this for mother today, and Charlie, this cake was absolutely delicious! I’m not a fan of coconut but my mother loves it. I tasted a piece once she cut it and I was shocked as to how fist pounding good this was! It was so moist and flavorful. I will make this again without the coconut flakes because it was that good! I know this video is old but I don’t care. I had to let you know that this was a complete hit!

I've just started watching your feed and I am blown away! First, I never used 3 sticks of butter along with 3 table spoons of oil, but I am trying it out today. Second, I never added my extracts to a milk mixture, but I am trying that out today too. The end result in just the batter alone surprised me, so now I have two unique ways of baking my cakes. Think I'll do yours for the remaining of the year!

I first had this cake with Cake flour and tin Coconut milk it was a bit too sweet even though I put 3 half cups of sugar. Today I used All Purpose Flour, little less than 3 half cups Sugar and reconstituted Grace Milk Powder. It's a so light and yummy!!! I used 4 tsp Coconut extract and 2 tsp Vanilla Essence. This is my new Coconut Recipe now!!!!!!!

Charlie Andrews I have to share bc I am a child of God and feel conviction of the spirit. The coconut cake even In it’s stare )I flipped it and frosted it using your frosting recipe as well) was THE HIT of desserts I served. My grandson from Houston went on and on about the crust! I told everyone the story of my panic and meltdown and comments on KZfaq. They said I needed to go and write another review and apologize again. I told them I had already done that. It was enjoyed by all. Thank you and my family really thanks you. It will now be a tradition!

Mr. Andrews, I can cook very well & when I do get a chance to when im not working I cook a meal for my hubby & myself I usually cook plenty for my apartment complex also & They love it when I cook & give them plates of food & my neighbors can't wait for me to cook again, My next meal will be the Stuff Bell Peppers & Ham & Collards Green when I get a minute off from work.
