How to make a Crossbow 2.0 (Step by Step)

Hi all.
You must have been interested in this video, since you are reading the description. This time it's not #restoration but making a great and powerful crossbow with simple #tools.
To make the #crossbow I needed a piece of wood, a piece of metal pipe, an old wood saw and a few simple things that almost every garage has.

i like it too, im wondering though about noise stopper would do hitting metal on metal. maybe covering metal bits with rubber would help.

Hello there! Nice work (from the repeating crossbow which was pretty inventive to this slurbow) I was wondering if the barell didn't add too much friction and could make you lose velocity or if it better helped to maintain a good trajectory for the bolt, and could even help reaching more distance... planing on converting a 90lbs into slurbow and having doubts about the gain and loss... Again, well done with these creations of yours! 👍

Good afternoon. Yes, you are right, the power is lost a bit, but not significantly. But on the other hand, we have very good accuracy at long distances and the crossbow is quite powerful, so I would use that in favor of accuracy. Thank you for your feedback and comment

The crossbow went together quickly and the general fit and finish is a bit above what I expected for the price. kzfaq.infoUgkx5B43Qabqt1HedUJyfEqxiwBCfaooIH52 The adjustable stock is a little loose. I had an issue when I tried to cock the bow for the first time with the safety on. The string set in the trap box, held just enough to build up enough tension to rip the string out of my hands when it let go. No significant damage was done, and once I got it sighted in, I wrecked a couple bolts by sending one straight down the shaft of the first. I'm holding ~2" groups at around 50 yards, and I'm not an expert by any means. Best part is that they supply all the replacements parts you may ever need

I am making a crossbow that has a claimed range of 350 yards, uses Normally aluminium prod. When I finish it and test it I will let you know the results. Otherwise your video was great and informative.

@@cheachyang3502 The alloy is high strength aluminium and is claiming 350yards, about 320metres. Now that is a powerful crossbow.

Там есть всё для того что бы сделать красиво и на совесть. Я авто не делаю. И калины с роду не имел. У меня с одной стороны Япония с другой Корея а с третьей Китай! Возможностей выше крыши!🤔
