Forging a CROSSBOW out of Rusted Spring 8 ARROWS

Hello, friends!
In this video I am making a crossbow again. Actually I like to make crossbows. But this time it is not a normal crossbow. This is a multi-arrow crossbow, or rather 8 arrows.
Also, in this project I am using a crossbow element forged by myself for the first time. I have little experience in forging, but it seems that it turned out well. Leave a like if you also liked it. Enjoy the video!

Your crossbow has a fantastic design!!! Nevertheless I think, perhaps, it could be possible to add some kinetic energy to the arrows if you eliminate the physical angle between the string and the rotating cylinder. The friction generated "steals" some useful energy during the shooting. Do you think I am wrong? Your crossbow is the best design I've seen on ypu tube. Thank you and congrats!!!

This does not work, when shooting, the author first cocks the bowstring, then puts an arrow, the rest are on the drum, so they need to be removed before shooting? He also didn't show how to shoot a crossbow, only arrows in a bottle, he could shoot other weapons.

Это не работает, при стрельбе автор сначала взводит тетиву, затем накладывает стрелу, остальные находятся на барабане, поэтому их нужно снять перед стрельбой, какой тогда смысл барабана. Он также не показывал, как стрелять из арбалета, только стрелы в бутылке, он мог стрелять из другого оружия.

It's great crossbow, newly design, the handcrafting is a Máster job, but the iron arrows have effectivity at close range only due to lack of fletching, I sugest you try with wooden arrows.

Good work What is the effective range of the wepon Will the arrows not fall off the cylinder athar when some is moving ? Is the length btn the string and the arrow on the cylinder not length ? Otherwise excellent ❤

if u where to put a very thin smooth light oil coated strip dwn the barrel n each groove...it would create less friction than it just restin on the wooden barrel...get more range out of it that way...maybe even up2 6 ft extra range...

Метров с 5 получится прицельно бить. А дальше едва ли, да и не полетят такие стрелы далеко и точно.

Тухта. Сразу думалось что это будет револьверный автоматический арбалет выпускающий стрелы как в фильме Робин Гуд.Начало.А стрелял по одной стреле.Зачем тогда массивный барабан, только как хранение для стрел?
