This was a very clear and easy to follow tutorial. Thanks so much. Did you use more than one coat of the triple glaze and since time has passed, do you know if this basketball was used and how it held up?

I only did 1 coating & and no, they haven't used it. I made sure to let them know it was for display only. & you're very welcome. I try to help anyway I can.

Hi how did you dry after applying the gloss? If I want to customize all panel how long before attaching the next panel ? I want to know how the drying process works.

Your tutorials are great... I am so happy to see another silhouette user. Question... On your AF 1 video, what tool(s) are you using when you traced? (Unable to leave comment on that video).
@craftsmadepersonal10962 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I used painters tape & traced around it with an ink pen.

Hi where I purchase your template for the photo basketball and the supplies??? I truly enjoy your videos because you explain what you are doing. I’m 71 and just started crafting when my husband had a stroke and heart attack.

Hello... Thanks for the video. Do you mind sharing where you purchased your basketball? I did a ball for the first time and I needed 11x17 paper to fit my ball. Thanks in advance
@craftsmadepersonal1096 Жыл бұрын
Hello, I purchase that ball from walmart. There's different size balls, but I can't remember what size it was. Also in the video it shows how to angle your design so it will fit on an 8.5x11 paper.

Can you use a blow dryer to get the wrinkles out?
@craftsmadepersonal1096 Жыл бұрын
Hello, I haven't used a blow dryer on this type of project, so I'm not sure. Blow dryers do put out quite a bit of heat so if you try it, let us know how it goes.

Does it matter if you use dark or light transfer paper?
@craftsmadepersonal1096 Жыл бұрын
I prefer dark so you won't see the ball color underneath it.

Hi, I purchased your template for my Silhouette Cameo3. When I try to upload it says, the file type you are attempting to access is not supported. Any idea why or how to fix it?

Unfortunately the svg, jpg nor png file worked for me 😢. When I converted the svg to a jpg and png it wouldn't allow me to ungroup or edit because it's an image. On the jpg only the numbers 29.5 can be ungrouped but thank you so much for your help ❤

my panels are larger than the template, how can I resize them? thanks
@craftsmadepersonal1096 Жыл бұрын
If your panels are larger, measure the length of your panel with a soft measuring tape then click & drag the template to that size.

@@craftsmadepersonal1096 thanks for replying. I have the same ball shown here and I can't seem to get the panels sized right. don't know why
@craftsmadepersonal1096 Жыл бұрын
@@mimiwashington8481 No problem at all. If you already have the measurements for your ball panel, you may want to look up on youtube how to resize images in the program you're working in. In silhouette I just click the nodes & set to size.

You don't have to sand down the ball first? Nice all of the other tutorials are saying you have to sand it down.
@lilwwwlil Жыл бұрын
using painters tape follow the edges of the basketball section and then cover the whole section with it. Once complete carefully pull the leap you made with painters tape off the ball and voila - you have it the exact shape of it. Then scan it and use. Just be careful when you are flattening it and try not to distort it too much. some distortion is ok as you can later correct it cutting the excess with the exacto knife just like lady shown. with this you are not dependant on the size or section shape and doing it specifically for your ball. hope that helps
