But how do you accurately index this type of aftermarket jig to a door slab then to a door jamb if your building a door with Soss hinges? Wouldn’t it be faster to just get the Soss Invisible Hinge Router Guide System Template kit? Thx

Have you ever used the Soss template to mortise this 212 hinge? I just recently made some test mortises in both pine and Poplar and I’m finding this hinge to very hard to push all the way into the mortise to sit flush. I’m using the required 42024 router guide and an Amana 51304 router bit. I can’t seem to figure out why the fit is so tight though. And ideas or thoughts? I’m wondering if I should use the Amana 46259S bit that has the double spiral cutters on it. Maybe this would produce a better cut.

I just hate when you add finish, and then the parts no longer fit. Good foresight.

No info on dimensions. No close-up shots. No overall plan explained. Fell asleep watching this guy.

Before I reply to negative comments I always like to check the persons channel who is saying the BS. I see that you have never posted any videos of your work for anyone to comment on> I also noticed you have no subs. So you are just a person who likes to talk crap but never allows himself to be out there to talked about. I feel sad for you. Best regards, Jim
