Using old school build up make up techniques with modern adhesives I created this goofy looking retro monster. The techniques demonstrated can be used to create much more realistic make ups.

Everything you do, with either modern materials or old materials, is always fantastic and a great way to create creatures.

Thanks guys, I relieved that you like it. I was afraid that you wouldn't get it because it is kind of crude and goofy.I was afraid that you would think that I lost my ability or mind. Well actually I lost my mind a long time ago. Yes she can see,sort of, there are holes in the eyes where the pupils are. Her vision is limited though. If you were going to do a make up like this on yourself I would make the eyes removable from the lids and put them in last.Thanks for watching.

Rick Baker I really enjoyed this, Rick. This is the stuff I grew up with and miss. Don't get me wrong - I appreciate where the craft has taken us these days. I just feel a lot of the "character" is missing from a lot of it. FM ads and Topstone put a lot of fun into their creations....bravo!

Thanks guys. Somehow I messed up and the end credits aren't on this. The music is from a royalty free site and the song is called Jaunty Gumption by Kevin MacLeod. As soon as I heard it I knew it was the one for this .

I have one question: I build up a positive of my face, my hand, etc, of gypsum or alginat with modelling clay or something like that. In my own alginatface you can see all details, like pores or birthmarks, but how can I shape them into the prostetic? I`m just a beginner, so I hope, some users can help me.

This is great! I just have several questions. Could she see with those eyes? And can you re-use this? Like is there a way to take it off and put it back on? Almost like a prosthetic? And can I use latex if I don't have pros-aid? Or glue?
@rickbaker377

Tiffy T-Rex Yes she could see there were holes in the pupils. You could use latex,make sure you are not allergic to it first. Check out my Miss Shock video for some tips on using latex to build up prosthetics
