Earlier this canning season, Memaw Dixie needed to can some sweet potatoes because her stockpile was running low.
She found a great deal and is now going to teach you how to make a simple syrup, how to can sweet potatoes and tell you how to make a yummy sweet potato dish!

Why don't you debugged and clean the sticky off rims before placing the ljds?

where is that 1 inch headspace ? and you did not wipe the syrup off the top of the jars before you put on the lids ??????

Didn't wipe the rims, no extra space, and no debubbling.😮

You can… we aren’t quite sure for how long since we haven’t done them that way before.

I noticed in one of your videos, your sweet potatoes were turned upside down. What is the reason for that?. I’m pretty new at this.

Turn them upside down to seal them if you are water bathing
