In this video I show you how I made the full circle chiffon skirt with gathered tiers as part of Cherrybomb's burlesque costume. This versatile skirt has loads of movement and is great for dancing. You can easily customise my design to suit your needs and style. I also demonstrate how terrible at maths I am and why it's always good to double check your measurements and calculations! You can easily customise this design to suit your needs and style. You could change the length, add marabou or ostrich feathers around the hem, join the open seam to create a complete circle, add crystals, make it from a fabric that isn't sheer, use different colours for each tier, there's so many possibilities!

Thank you! My maths is so bad, but it's so important when you're sewing. Online calculators for things like circles are such a blessing. I usually double check everything but this one nearly slipped past me!
