Gallon of martini a day?

I know you narrow-cast for the barbell stuff, but I literally don't know anyone who wouldn't enjoy watching Rip do random house-hold activities! The Rippetoe Martini (or the Rippetini as someone else has said) is born.

I worked at a restaurant where agave spirits were the star. We made our version by replacing the Gordon's with an agave based gin and the vodka with a high quality blanco tequila. We called it the Vesperado.

Stay in ur glass

Try this technique. Take the glass and completely fill it with ice, going above the rim. Add 2-3 measures of vermouth (until the glass is mostly full). Mix up your gin in your shaker (no vermouth). Then, take the glass of vermouth and throw everything down the sink. Fill the glass with cold gin. This gives you a nicely chilled glass, the residue of the vermouth (maybe a quarter of a measure), and a pretty good dry martini. Vermouth is cheap anyway, and it feels good to throw most of it down the sink. . . . Then add whey.
