For a long time i wanted to have a drill press, which has the perfect height for me. And i didn't want that this drill press take up much floor space. So i came up with the idea, to hang a drill press to the wall. I also built a special feature and a drill table with drawers underneath. This drill press is so convenient and ergonomic to work with, especially with my body height of almost 2 meters.

I enjoyed every minute of that very well presented build of a brilliant idea. You are obviously very skilled in your work. I absolutely love this idea. I came close to buying the bosch drill press but found a parkside one that will do me for now. Many thanks for the idea

I love this! It is so versatile for a smaller drill press. I wish that kind of drill press wasn't so hard to find in the US. I have a small drill press and if I could extend the reach of it and have a table with storage that would be so amazing. I am going to try to wall mount it like you did this one, but I am not sure about taking the built in base at the bottom as I have never tried that. Thanks for sharing this with us!

Great project. One thing I'd love, would be to have the middle section removable, so you can drill end of a long stock (leg table etc.). Because the table-to-chuck height of the PBD 40 is somewhat limiting (even though here it's improved to 420mm).

Great job. One thing I would have done due to OCD is to level the right hand drawer handle with the middle drawer handle.

A very very interesting project, I would like to ask you if the PBD40 maintains the same RPM when operating or if it floats as it behaves with a forstner tip or with a hole saw if forcing it freezes, I ask you why I would be willing to buy it but being a neophyte I can't decide whether to buy the Bosch 40 or buy the belt ones. Super Ergänzung für die PBD40 Sehr gut umgesetzt! Bin dabei die Wandhalterung nachzubauen - ohne Bauplan nicht ganz einfach aber es muss ja auch nicht Maßstabsgetreu sein. Ein Bauplan würde die Sache natürlich sehr erleichtern. Habe den Halter auch für mein French cleat Erstellt, bin aber am überlegen ob eine feste Montage nicht besser ist. Welche Tiefe hast du für den Bohrtisch gewählt?

Great project idea and execution. well done. i have a floor drill press that takes too much space and your idea seem excellent. i'm planning on getting a bench drill and doing something similar. Would you recommend the PBD40 to a woodworker hobby (woodworking and woodworking)?

Thanks. For hobby i think the PBD40 is perfect. I bought it because of the fact that this drill press was the perfect choice for my wall mounted drill press. Because the whole drill head can be adjusted in height. And the possibility to adjust the RPM is infinitely variable was also a reason i bought the PBD40.

Hi, wonderful project, I have the same drill press and would like to make the table. May I ask, what is the distance of the change of height of the table, as that must dictate the overall length of the hanging post. Thanks. Keep up the good work. Craig.

Vielen Dank. Ich bin dabei Pläne für mehrere Projekte zu erstellen. Leider komme ich zu wenig dazu, daran zu arbeiten. Aber eines ist sicher, es werden Pläne kommen. Auch von der Wandbohrmaschine.

Bei mir steht die Anschaffung einer Standbohrmaschine noch an und nach dem Video ist die Entscheidung was es werden soll gefallen. Ich freue mich schon auf die Pläne. Of course it would have been the best, but a cut list is the second best. I think I will be able to create the project using the cut list. :-)

Ich finde diese Projekt einfach toll. Es war eine Freude, diesen drei Teilen zuzuschauen. Du hattest einem Zuschauer geschrieben, dass Du Pläne erstellen wirst. Sind diese schon fertig oder noch in Arbeit. Ich hätte Interesse daran. Diese Projekt gefällt mir sehr. Viele Grüße
