This is extremely rare this day in age.. To see a good young man passing on information that has been handed down for generations. God bless you Catman Outdoors. It gives an old fart like me hope that all is not lost and at least some of the country still cares about our traditions and knowledge.. I hope this message finds you well and hope you are having a great spring hunt.

I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to make this video. I just finished my first wing bone call using your video as a guide. It turned out great, and sounds better than I expected. I’ll be hunting some very pressured birds this year, and I think that something that sounds a bit different than your average turkey call may come in handy.

SO impressed! A friend of mine suggested I do this with my very first turkey wings because I try not to waste anything! SO happy to find your video and see a young man using old techniques ( I’m guessing true Native American techniques at that!). Great video too!

SIR I am turning 64 at the end of may,I have loved turkey hunting since it started in mass and have checked out a lot of you tube videos and I got to say you are on your game. Not only show how to make a call but then professionally display your expertise of using said call. I have harvested a bunch of mature gobblers and have made a few wing bone calls, but never took the time to get good at it. This year I was blessed to get two gobblers, one 25 lbs, second a jake, I’ve heard that young birds make better calls, so as I’m texting you,I’m boiling the wing bones on the stove gonna make the calls you’re way and then practice.hopefully next spring,it’ll be one in my armory.

I started making wing bones in 2002 and I love them. Such a rewarding feeling to call a bird in with a simple call made from your own bird. I totally agree jakes are the best to use. Gobbles bones are a little to big, hens are little to small in my hand but jakes fit well and the sound is perfect.

That’s a great instructional video. I have a friend who makes them also. If you’re only going to make one, your way is pretty good, but if you’re making a lot of them, I’d suggest using a Dremel with a flex shaft attachment. For glue I would use the UV Glue like dentists use. It sets up in seconds and no mess, no mixing, no waste. Again, a great presentation.

GREAT VIDEO ON HOW TO. YOU TOOK TIME TO SHOW/TELL STEP BY STEP WITHOUT RUSHING IT. WHEN I CAME ACROSS YOUR VIDEO'S ABOUT A YEAR AGO, MY FIRST IMPRESSION WAS THAT YOU WERE A LITTLE RECKLESS ON SOME OF YOUR HUNTING TACTICS. THE FIRST VIDEO I SAW OF YOU, YOU SEEMED TO BE UNPREPAIRED (IT WAS THE VIDEO WHERE YOU DIDN'T TAKE ENOUGH SHELLS WITH YOU DEER HUNTING). SINCE THEN, IVE WATCHED SEVERAL OTHER OF YOUR VIDEO'S AND I'VE COME TO REALIZE THAT YOUR ACTUALLY A PRETTY GOOD HUNTER. I THINK THAT FIRST VIDEO I SAW, YOU WERE JUST TRYING TO GET IN A QUICK HUNT THAT AFTERNOON. I'M IN MIDDLE TN WHERE CUMBERLAND, FENTRESS AND MORGAN COUNTIES COME TOGETHER. WE HAVE SOME GOOD HUNTING HERE, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE YOU'VE GOT A LOT MORE GAME THERE THAN US. THANKS AGAIN, GOOD VIDEO !!!!!
